AC Multiclass @ Donington - Monday 17 June 2019

Assetto Corsa Racing Club event
Thank you for the race guys :) good and fair battle with @HF2000 thanks for that
Was again great fun. Thanks, Craig. After @Dennis Manke passed me in the beginning of the race, I was almost the whole race close behind but was not able to overtake him and finally I got off the track in turn 1. Until then is was very intense.

Question: what are we suppose to do when the "race over" sign appears? Stop or finish the lap?
Yes was really good this fight but it was really fair in my Opinion hope to see you in the next race for the next fight

Sorry about that. I got the message from race engineer and thought you were lmp1 so I kept my line. When I pulled over, i was going too fast for that corner and lost control. From then until hitting you I was braking but had not control of the car.

Weird race for me. If felt like my car was missing straight line speed all race. Everyone could out accelerate me even when on draft. I think I setup my suspension too rigidly as I spun a couple of times from touching kerbs and my tyres were always cold. When i checked car setup, even though i had a simetrical setup the values were different left and right hand side for Camber and toe. Not sure what that was about. Really not a good race. Appologies again to Asterix for taking him out.

It was was an unfortunate accident, but one that I feel could have been avoided, if you was paying more attention..

You have really got to watch out for those blue flags, your setup really did not have anything to do with the blue flag situation, you should have let him pass much sooner, it would have be better for you and him, that was a fast part of the track to try and pass (wich was your fault) ...AC warns you early, very early ...what is going on behind you is just as important as what is going on in front of you.

You apologised which was good, you are very welcome to join other events, but please prepare yourself when you see that blue flag

I was really pushing the last laps because the bmw is really good to the tires in my Opinion :) too bad that we can not fight for this position maybe next race:thumbsup:
absolutely... what a big blackout where i would pass the 488... but i was very stressed because of the Z4 on my rear  :roflmao: additionally my tires was losing everything of grip last rounds...:cautious:
hopefully we are able to continue this fight next races:thumbsup:

No, my setup had nothing to do with the crash. That part was my view of the race in itself. Yes, I should've paid more attention and in hindsight, I should've cleared that section of the track first before moving to the side once I realized what was going on and made myself easier to pass in a straight section.

I hope so  the porsche is very tricky to drive with the stressed tires because the engine is in the rear that makes the car more oversteer i think:)

I believe that the majority had fun, which is the main thing

If you need more awareness, you should install Helicorsa or CarRadar, alongside with the spotter. Also, you can activate a virtual mirror with F11, if your FOV doesn't allow you to see the mirrors. If you already know this, sorry to bother you about this.
