Assetto Corsa Racing Club event
Well as one of those new slower guys with cero experience racing, I find my fastest lap time is far away of any other one, no problem for that, but I like to race with others.
I tryed to improbe but is quite difficult to go 1 sec faster.

I bought a couple of books
I jump in others car when they are training to learn gears and lines...
What else in addition to expend more time behind the whell can we do to improbe?
Right now, the 20 sec different with the first one looks ages for me

Jose, the previous posts offer great advice. You are doing the right things, reading and watching other people's onboards. If you have time you should watch replays of your laps from external cameras to see where you can improve your lines.

I would also say that the quickest way to improve is to do these weekly races. I certainly found that. Practicing, racing then looking back and working out what to do the next time to get faster.
