Why do we need 2.0? To me, 1.0 looked perfect.

EDIT: Or just a 2020 update?

There were several changes to the real-life track in 2020, including a new track surface, and they're reflected in the new mod version.
The starting grid has been spread out, so there will be fewer instant accordion crashes in online races. ;)
And advancements in CSP features allow for more immersive details in the mod.

Hey guys,
I installed initially the wrong folder in the tracks folder.
Then deleted and dragfed the jr_ folder in the tracks folder.
I now see the track, can select it, but when i want to start a game, AC crashes. Any tips?

Tried reinstalling, redownloading, restarting. Nothing
Also, no apps outside SRS

Did you try disabling SRS to test and see if it crashes?

Another suggestion would be to delete the ksanim files in the extension folder.
 
I get that it's accurate to the current real world track, but is there an easy way to get the other improvements but keep the old asphalt? The AI file should just work if I copied that over I guess? Will some of the KN5s work too?

(Not a big fan of freshly paved tracks tbh, I think older/repaired asphalt adds character, especially in games where smaller detail just isn't there it turns into a grey featuresless expanse. Just personal preference.)

You could probably edit the new asphalt texture (by opening the main KN5), but everything else would require you to understand the ext_config file and copy/paste lines from 2020 to 2019 version
