Modding Questions Thread

Just don't install Games on C:\ - it's foolish anyway. Next Windows reinstall and all is gone, hell yeah, sounds great :D
Well, you could still install to a custom folder on C:\ to not have UAC/Administrator issues but still an other partition is the way to go.

P.S.: Some trick: Open EDE with admin rights ...
So Do You Thing, Where did i put my F1 13?

he meant 'bout install the game in different folder or different partition. outside the Program Files folder. that means you can change any files without worrying about UAC/Administrator permission issues or protected files. or even lost your games due to reinstall Windows for example.
just in case you want to install it in D:\ or C:\games for example.

Not just F1 2013..
Football Manager, DiRT, Counter Strike, etc.. are also supported with Steam..
Actually most games supported by Steam doesn't need Steam to play, buy DVDs and play.. You set it!
? You play on a different earth than we do? Games that come with steam need steam. No matter if you buy DVD version (which often will download from steam nonetheless haha).
You can't run them if steam is not installed or active ... sure, you can play CS 1.6 offline w/o steam ...
Or one sets sail and has a black flag ... then the discussion would be over by now.

Of course you can't run Steam games without Steam..
What I mean is most games can be played using "Offline Mode", then you can play Steam games without Steam network.. (although Steam is still active but it's working offline)
The effect of doing this are you can't receives patches, DLCs, news, etc about those games..
Don't get me wrong mate..

I still don't get how you come talking about steam's offline mode (which does not work for all games anyway) when it was about "What Do You Mean Steam?" before?
Too much offtopic again for me anyway.

I have a question for you guys as I'm working on a C33 DHD. The part that I highlighted with red circle on the rear wing. Do you think that white thing is part of the paint or it's only the lighting that causing that? I think it's paint but i'm not sure about it so I wanted to ask what do you guys think.
