Hello everybody
Because i'm playing in career mode with 25 % length races, i made many seasons, and noticed that the pits was always two and it become really boring.

So what i decided to was to increase tyres wear, first time i put half of the value inside the DB under tyres value, then i noticed that i could make two stops, while others made three or even four so it was too easy.
Second attemp was to change values lowering them of one third., again same problem.
Third was to also change the vaules of track_tyres_ wear_level because they are negative i lowerd them of half.
Same thing i can make half race in Australian GP with super soft.

May someone help me to find what values i must change to have the oppsite effect of this mod :

I've seen that most skins creators are disturbed with cars texture mappings, it's unfortunately limits them to create correct skins.. :thumbsdown:
Anyone know what's the name of texture mapping files for each cars? Wonder if we could remove them.. :rolleyes::D

Hello all

I'm on PC and running my own career (the third) at an edited level of difficulty between Pro and Expert. I'm having the usual fun (100 race distance, no help, and so on) but, as with old F1 game, the poor ai optimization of the cars actually out of sight often ruins exciting Races despite the fact that i installed some AI improving mods.

I would like to know is someone has been able, using the Database editor and working onto the Track Difficulties file to eliminate the issue that, occurs almost always when one or more cars are disappearing from the sight of the player and enter the "bubble" that a user sometime ago well explained onto CM forums.

To explain, the car/cars in front runs 1 or 2 tenths faster or slower than you and then, all of a sudden, start to lap 1.5. 2.0 seconds faster than the player that in the meantime, it's losing even more ground because of tyre degradation ending to 20-30 secs behind with no apparent reason in just 10-15 laps. I'm pretty sure that this happens to a lot of career users and when happens there little one can do to catch up. Today a run a race in spain droving almost perfecty for 66 laps but ending 40 seconds behind grosjean with whom i was battling hard but with no big deal to stay in reach for the first stint of the race, Then i pitted first, and i never saw him for the rest of the race because the after the third lap when he came back to the track after pitting he was consistently 1 or 2 seconds more faster than me for every lap.

The question is: there is in F1 2013 some value in the Database file that can be altered to modify this and try to reach (probably with some experimentation) a correct balance between what the AI opponents are doing while are still in front of the player and when they are in the bubble?

Mod F2010 to 2013

Hello, I would try to make a mod f1 2010 to f1 2013. For now I try to incorporate f12012,I edit the database yet but I do not know where you can edit the way cars(I've noticed that there is already data from old games f1) Can you help me please?

I heard that the classics (90's) can't be edited, but is it possible to export .nfs files (I don't need to import back)

Steering question. It looks like in this game the player can move the wheel approx. 120 degrees and then it locks. In real life maybe 180-220 degrees. What can we do to make it real? Where is the steering wheel settings file location?

I think it's not possible. Codemasters physics
 
Hi guys. Is it possible in any way to make an F1 car from 2007, 2008 or 2009 ? (or maybe it was already made in a mod) I mean, design a completly new car for the game. Cause those current are long which doesn't look nice

I believe you can only make a skin. You can't change let's say the shape for example.
