Mod, Helmet and Skin requests go in here

Hey all,

I have a request on someone making me a helmet like Schumacher's old one (Ferrari around 2003, means red design), but integrate the austrian flag on the top? Feel free to integrate it whatever way you feel like!

(And can you help me: How can I replace Alonso by Schumacher in the Ferrari and put someone new in the Mercedes of Schumacher?)

another request:

I've been looking to find some fantasy team mods:

For example I'd love to have HRT replaced by Scuderia Italia - they raced in the early 90's, I'd just love to have 'em with a little more green than at the time they existed - so that it's really Italy.

And if anyone did some colouring job on Marussia to make them look like they were actually russian (livery in red, white and blue), I'd be really grateful.

Additionally, I'd love to have:
  • a VW-powered livery for either McLaren or Sauber
  • a return of the Marlboro design on Ferrari (to be completed with the return of Schumacher as requested in my post from yesterday ;) )
  • Bruno Senna replacing Lewis Hamilton --> Hamilton replacing Rubens Barrichello
  • as requested above, Schumacher replacing Fernando Alonso --> Alonso replacing Maldonado --> Hülkenberg replacing Schumacher
  • any liveries related to constructors (such as VW as mentioned, probably Lamborghini, Honda, stuff like that) are very welcome.
I do not urgently need or demand this stuff - it's more of a collection of inspirations I am simply not talented enough to do myself (when trying to do so, I pretty much screwed my installation). I only wanted to hand my ideas, dreams, wishes to all of you, and I should be most grateful for ANYTHING you do in relation to what I asked for.
Furthermore, I'd want to thank you all for what you do here - it's a modding community like this that keeps a game alive over the years; so let's hope we (you) can keep up doing the great stuff you do!
For example, ML2166 does a lot of great stuff ;) - all the new ones, check out his amazing helmets and skins!

Regarding the Scuderia Italia mod: I'd like to see it with Dallara chassis and Ferrari engine, and if the colours were like the picture below, it would be great, just with a little more colour - maybe even yellow, if it's some kind of Fiat Abarth story! :D And I'd rather have it replace Toro Rosso - a bit more competitive xD

Regarding the Marussia skin: I remember that kinda splashy style NFS Underground offered in tuning :) Would be great if someone cared to do it like that xD You can see it on the side of the car on the picture - the white stuff coming from the front wheel. I think it would look great in red and blue on a white background on the car - feel free to live your imagination, I know you can do it!

Regarding the VW thing: I think a Sauber in white and blue, including a VW logo where now the Chelsea logo is (I never quite understood what sense could be in a cooperation between a racing team and a football club, but nonetheless...) The link should show the VW Racing logo.

Regarding the driver changes: I could imagine either Hulkenberg or Sam Bird (current Mercedes test driver) replacing Schumacher in the Mercedes.

So no matter which one you decide to do, feel free to change the design to make it fit for Mercedes (I was unable to find one of Bird's Mercedes helmet in proper quality) :)

Regarding Alonso in Williams - I would love to have Alonsos McLaren helmet design return (just a little changed as he should be racing for Williams ;) ) So if replacing the red spots with blue and removing the vodafone part, I think it should look pretty fine!

Regarding Hamilton in Williams, his helmet didn't change to much since he started F1; I think it wouldn't if he switched to Williams. So, basically the same as with Fernando - removing the Vodafone writing I think (and probably replacing it with RBS?) I think it should look pretty fine.

Personally, I always thought Honda's racing livery looked pretty cool - replacing HRT by a Honda powered racing team of your own and including your own helmet to honour yourself a bit should be VERY fine with me ;)

Same is for anyone changing Marussia team like I asked for: if you could switch Petrov as No. 1 driver (and give someone else the Lotus car - Maldonado, if you wish? Or Senna back to Lotus and Hulkenberg to McLaren and Bird to Mercedes? Huh, I'm confusing myself... :D), then you may very well include yourself as driver No. 2, if you wish :)

Same is, of course, for Scuderia Italia - here you can feel free to insert any drivers and helmets you wish, just get f***ing rid of Buemi and Alguersuari :)

So, if anyone is still interested in doing anything of the requested - feel free to start!

Oh gosh... I don't even understand what I've been talking about regarding the drivers - so let's clear it up:

  • Michael Schumacher: Mercedes --> Ferrari (No.1-Driver)
  • Fernando Alonso: Ferrari --> Williams (No.2-Driver)
  • Lewis Hamilton: McLaren --> Williams (No.1-Driver)
  • Vitaly Petrov: Lotus-Renault --> Marussia (No.1-Driver)
  • Nico Hülkenberg: Nowhere --> McLaren (No.2-Driver)
  • Sam Bird: Nowhere --> Mercedes (He should be No.2 but I don't really care :))
  • Bruno Senna: Nowhere --> Lotus-Renault (No.2-Driver)

Free spots:
  • Marussia: No. 2-Driver
  • Scuderia Italia (STR): Both drivers
  • Sauber: No. 1-Driver (Send Kobayashi to wherever you want)
  • Lotus (now Caterham): No.2-Driver
  • HRT: Feel free to do whatever you want to both of them...
Any proposals on other changes can be talked about - I want to change F1 as I like it, and all of you can be part of the game! (YouTube videos might follow, including your names and credits to anyone participating :))

(Guess who raced for Scuderia Italia 19 years ago - some guy called Luca Badoer ;)) Here's a picture of his helmet design, in case you want to include him. I, in fact, would favour including Kevin Ceccon (very talented young Italian).

Sorry if I get on your nerves, but that was all the stuff I collected in my mind throughout the last weeks and now I felt it was the right time to ask for it!

So if you feel like doing anything of this stuff (be it helmet, livery or anything) - I would be VERY, VERY, VERY, VERY, VERY GLAD!
