I would love to help. And we could keep it simple, like the skinning in ACC goes:

1 - Pick a shape for you car (multiple layers to choose from, we can make and add on the RD form)
2 - Pick a color
3 - Add a logo layer
4 - Merge 3 layers and create a DSS file.

Ready you are for a simple skin.
Can you tell me where to get the right (psd?) base file, Lucas? I’d love to give it a try!

Edit: found ‘em already!

Hey Lucas nice one for the stream! It’s great to watch your onboard as I now see why I was so slow lol I was doing the wrong gears it seems round a few of the corners.

Be great to see one of these races like a tv coverage ie from track side and onboard looking at all cars in the race, would love to sit and watch it back.

I’ll subscribe to your channel this weekend, nice work fella

Thanks Andy,
I did some practice this week, because the last few mini club races I was outside the top 10, se thanks for the compliment!

In theory it is possible to have a live TV coverage with the outside cam and all on board cams. BUT then all drivers need to share there screen in a Skype Group call and use NDI. Then it might be possible to add all onboards to OBS and make a TV coverage..
OR even better; drivers stream there onboard live to there own YouTube / Twitch and the TV director can add thoose streams in OBS.

But more important is we keep the mini club race on Friday alive coming years.

Pleasure mate.

Well practice makes perfect and i didnt do enough, so nice work on your race. I need to practice trail breaking, i just cant seem to nail it.

Ah i see thats interesting, maybe ill setup a Twitch Channel then and stream it too, im sure people will be interested in my awful driving skills haha every loves a back-marker :)

Absolutely agree on keeping the mini club alive, i have really enjoyed taking part and thanks to Bram for arranging it all.

I am loving AMS2 so hope it stays in this sim.

Be good if some of the Reiza boys came for a race one Friday, would love to see how many times they lap me lol

Practice on this track was only to happen on late friday afternoon. And then to find out I didn't own the DLC yet, was a surprise . But one should own Silverstone tracks in any sim, so just bought it.

After 20 laps or so, I started to feel sort of okay to race on this one, hit a few low 01's, 'should be able to do midfield qualy and not get in the way too much in the race. Found it real hard to get the fwd under control at this track. Especially with event settings at chilly British temperatures, couln't get tyres to heat up, etc. The looks of the low hanging sun were great though!

Anyways, practice was okay, qualy was okay (a bit laggy as in lower fps), race start was... weird. My start pretty okay, but the cars in front had some server problems, so it seemed, could barely avoid a full rear end crash, just a little paint scraping as far as I could see, luckily. Strange situation for the guys that had the server issue, unfortunately. For me it was all a bit laggy, but I didn't hear any of you guys about that, so must have been on my client side I guess.

Couldn't find the right pace in the race, very difficult last corner, slowly dropping from the back, had a mid part of the race where I found a bit of rhythm, but then, again, my pedals issues hit me. What happens is that out of the blue (as far as I can see), my throttle is stuck at halfway. I hoped I had that fixed by putting the pedals and PC to a grounded wall socket. It's way better than it was, but it still hits me every once in a while, can't predict it though. Only thing I can do is unplug>plug the usb cable to the socket, hit escape and resume (when lucky). But it's not very comfortable when approaching the next turn  . If any of you guys was wondering why I was at the run off, behind the traffic cones; just trying to get back my pedals without withdrawing from the race. When it hit again in the last corner, I entered the pits and tried to get it straight, but had to retire, not funny anymore and unsafe for the other ones to be on track. So watched the rest of the race from other cars, learning braking points and lines. You guys are fast, so, a lot to learn. As F2020 mentioned above, I'm also learning to trail brake, which seems to make these fwd mini's rotate better (please correct me if I'm wrong on this!)

So, all in all quite an event for me. But I like these mini's and this friday night sessions, so I'll keep trying and learning.

If anyone of you has ideas how to get rid off these pedals problems, please lemme know!

See you next friday!

Had a similar issue recently where I got random throttle inputs and sorted it with some compressed air spray and then contact cleaner - this I with the old CSL Elites though so may not work for you but worth a try if you haven't already!

Thanks James, I could try cleaning, I’ll check the pedals if this is possible (t-lcm pedals).
