The showroom will still show the extra number plates. It will not show during the race. If you have a different version of the car then go into the show room and click on the number plate and in the top right it will show you the name of the number plate. open the config file and change what is after hide= to what the number plate in your car is named.

this ext config file goes into each skin folder. This is for the AC Friends version of the rollovers cars. I am not sure if it will work on other versions.
