All the skins worked sound for me except the ferrari f14, do I need to create a folder for that one? Was the only one not inside its own folder.

I may have to sign out if i cant get the blue flag app to work. I have extracted files and and put them in python but its still not showing on the right hand side of the icons

Yes, put the files in a folder.

Go to "Options -> General" and enable the plugin first.

GRRR I still cant get this blue flag app to work. I have extracted files as shown below:

I have the following enabled in options as @IRobot suggest

Am I right in saying if it is working it should show on the right hand side as below?

Any further help would be massively appreciated as this is starting to peas me off!
