People here in the club races are ALWAYS helpful !
It is best for you to immediately enter the practice server and do as many laps as you can manage there.
Often you will run into others in the server and practicing together always helps.

For the day of the race it is best for you to show up 1h early - usually a few people are already around, doing laps on the practice server and chatting on Team Speak. Latest then you will have the opportunity to learn more about the club races and always get a helping hand if you are in trouble ;-)

Most importantly though - HAVE FUN!

I will do so, and train (to see some kind of improvement is really fun and motivating)
