What hypercars have done for the wec and imsa is awesome its breathed new life into motorsports for me and it was such an experience this year that i forgot to go to the museum! Cant wait for lambo and bmw to join the party! Not to mention the gt3s and the possibility of seeing raffaele marchiello drive at le mans epic times ahead!

Need to decide this weekend..... Really want to go to the LM24 again!
It's 72 hours after (public) ticket sales started. Can't get a regular weekend ticket anymore. Freaking 72 hours. I am so disappointed right now. F this S.
Sorry to hear that maybe some tickets will go up on the resale part of the le mans site at some point.
Yep, it will need to check that now. Otherwise it's on the couch with 5 screens again.
I think wec are missing out on some great drivers with no Mercedes in gt3 next season, I was looking forward to following raffaelle Marcello and Luca stoltz as well as maro Engel and jules gounon. Seems crazy that they can't fit in 2 more runners.

I'm not 100% happy with the current restriction in the GT3 class so there are just two cars per manufacturer.
This doesn't apply to the Hybrid class.
I assume that for Le Mans this will get opened up so we get a full field.
The issue is that teams will have to be making their plans but can't if they don't know early on that they they can get an entry.

I love the way they leave the pits on hybrid and seem to jump start the engine down the pitlane!
Also raffaelle Marcello has joined BMW and hopefully the hypercar but it sounds like he was poached from Lamborghini don't know if that's a step up or not!

I do love the sound of those cadillacs, put a smile on my face at le mans everytime they went by glad the season is underway. Maybe one day il get over to florida for the 24 hours as well.
Intense battle in GTD Pro...LOTS of wheel to wheel and constantly changing positions.
everyone got their tickets for next year? i went ACO membership this time managed to get a grandstand seat over the pitlane and camping down at mulsanne.
Third year and now im seeing why its a must do every year.

I refuse to get ACO membership and find it ridiculous to be honest. The outcome will be, or already is, that everyone needs a membership to be eligible to buy a ticket. Essentially this a) indirectly raises ticket prices and b) results in the exact same run for tickets as without memberships. So again, TV event for me.

I'm an ACO member but no tickets for 2025 - did for this year though.
I think it's true that the only options now are either ACO membership or to buy through an agent.
When we started going I can remember driving down on the Friday afternoon and buying our Enceinte Générale and campsite tickets from roadside booths on the way.
Tickets work out at being pretty much the same price regardless of ACO membership. Discount on tickets for members is roughly the same as the membership charge. The "upside" is the ability to access the members only area at La Chapelle... although that has now become very busy with huge queues in 2024.

I hear what your saying Botmeister and as Trichens says it is pretty much buying a membership to get to the ticket sales early and it panning out quite close on price. I went ACO on Trichens advice from this post this time last year and having a thought in my mind that there are a lot less members going than the 300,000 tickets on sale so I could grab a grandstand seat unfortunately i got above the pit lane whilst my brother and nephew got the tetre rouge stand so we're not together.
That being said I'm not sure how long we will stay in the grandstand after the start and then again during the night and at the end.
For me I love being trackside just to have the feeling that I'm there and it has given me the feeling that I cant believe I am there especially on the track walk. Also might remember to go in the museum next year.
To be honest Botmeister i hear your frustration and I get it. Le Mans has turned in to my Holiday each year so any extra money (even if I don't have a lot is ok to me).
I wish I could afford the nurburgring 24 and the spa 24 As well which are all within 3 weeks of each other next year.
Any idea if people have watch parties for these events, I don't know many people who actually enjoy motorsports and are also willing to watch something other than f1!
