That's all fine but racedepartment has obviously different policy about this as proven by the 919 evo. One could speculate that there can be many reasons why kunos does not allow this at least on their forums. One is that they simply don't want it to happen, don't have the rights to do it (if the content was bought from a contractor with limiting restrictions) or simply because kunos has no desire to moderate that discussion on their forum. Kunos does not allow sharing any .exe files on their forums either because of moderating issues but those kinds of mods are perfectly valid elsewhere. If you extract encrpyted data from AC and spread it elsewhere public on the internet you are violating the license of AC, on which you have agreed on by buying the license to use the game.
And for that matter it shouldn't be a difference if you are using encrypted content from an *.kn5 or *.acd file of the game, including vanilla and DLC content.
Or maybe RD gets lazy sometimes...remember how fast the modified Sauber C9 got torn off of RD?That's all fine but racedepartment has obviously different policy about this as proven by the 919 evo. But in the end it is about the racedepartment policy. If the 919 evo is allowed then this is no different at all. And kunos has not asked rd to take down the 919 evo either despite they definitely know about it. And rd also definitely knows about the possible issues with the 919 so it is not like this all is happening unknowingly.
