Introduce Yourself Here

I'm not new here, but I want that 100% for my account :D. I'm a petrolhead, I come from Italy, not far from the Motor Valley (even if I've been living in London in the last four years) and I'm racing virtually since 2013. I started with Assetto Corsa, which is still one of my most used sims, and now I mainly race with AC, ACC (I do also use a bit of rFactor 2). I did Karting in real life with the Club 100 in the UK, and after completing my MA in Photography I'm now trying to enter into motorsport as photographer.

Hi , Giulio here , not the most chatty member on the forum but I've been on it for a while now . Simracer from let's say ten + years (coming and going) and right now enjoying the great simracing.gp platform since almost a year. I find myself driving pretty much every modern sim (AC , ACC , R3e. Rf2 , Iracing , AMS2). Tight work schedule and I have the silliest hours available for online races working evenings/nights), but when I'm free I'm always down for some good races no matter the car/track combo (I like pretty much any content if well made) .
Tldr : nice to meet you all :)

Hello,

My first introduction to sim racing was in the late '90's with a game named Sports Cars GT. There was only 3 cars in that sim, a Porsche 911, a Panoz Esperante and a BMW M3 E36. I have been in love with Beemers ever since. Did that for a few years and moved on to other things. In the fall of 2018, I bought GT Sport for my PS4. I played GT Sport with a controller for a month or so, and then, I just needed a wheel and pedals. Since then, I discovered RD and I ended up trying out all the popular sims.

So, it is back to the future for me.

Hi people call me tuti, i enjoy simracing and making replicas and adaptation of classic race car liveries for ACC, im not exactly new but hi to you all and hope you like my stuff ;)

Hi all,

Coming from Heerenveen, The Netherlands I started sim racing 2 years ago when I took over the old G27 of my son Enzo (a student that also works for Heusinkveld).
No race experience what so ever and never been the owner of a sportive car. My hybrid RAV4 doesn't like fast corners. But I very much enjoyed the AC races of this community and since a couple of weeks I joined the RD staff to organize a multiclass event on Wednesdays and quite recently I took over the Sunday GT3 races from Chris Down. You're all invited to try them sometime. They can be found in: https://www.racedepartment.com/forums/assetto-corsa-racing-club.171/

Hi again. I am sure i introduced myself already while joining here in 2011. But ok here we go again in short :)
I am a polish born german citizen, already 43 years young and living in Lower saxony, Germany

I started gaming about 1984 with a Atari 400 <--- A counterpart to the early Commodore 64 with cassette, very popular in eastern europe in 80s. Since beginning fascinated for car/racing games. The first "serious" sim was 1991 Microprose Grand Prix for the Amiga.
I believe i had my first plastic wheel for the Amiga (with pedals ) :geek:

Later already on PC i started with Microprose Grand Prix 2 than GP 4. Later i switched to rFactor, got a Logitech G25 and started a about 4 years long lasting online-leagues adventure.

Than after getting married and so on.... i quited my online gaming and switched to offline only racing. Played mosty GTL, GTRs, RBR than switched to the modern ones playing them until now : AC, R3E, AMS, AMS2, DR, AoR, ACC.
3 years ago switched to the T300 Ferrari Alcantara, T500Shifter, T-LCM Pedals with them i am still happy.

I am not very active on the forums, but i have "my days" and i try to help mainly with AC questions where i can.

Hello, I'm super late but here is my presentation. I'm Sylvain, new member of the simracing community but already deeply in love with the lobby. I used to race karts competitively and now I race old mosnters in socks in my office, much more convenient if you ask me. :D
I play all the modern sim (but race mostly the old cars) and use Fanatec hardware because I enjoy their H-shifter a lot and like a cohesive ecosystem. See you around. :)

I'm just a young lad coming from Italy. My passion with racing cars started when I was around four years old. I was a so-called "enfant terrible", so my parents had to try everything to keep me in check. My father found a method that actually worked out pretty well. One day, he put the "Grand Prix" movie VHS on TV and, immediately, I was amazed. Those sounds in the beginning gave me goosebumps and they still do every time I watch that movie, even after all these years. Those cars, those drivers, those tracks, everything was stunning. I have watched it so many times I learned every single dialogue and I 'burned' the VHS :roflmao: My father had to buy me a new one :D
A little 4 years old sitting quietly on the sofa for a couple hours. My parents thought they had found the Holy Grail
