Guys, why do my opponents always have much more straight line speed than me? Did I do something wrong? I take 2 seconds in the Indy 500 and on the straight they swallow me
You haven't done anything wrong. The base game has changed a lot since this mod was released over a year ago. The AI/default setups for ovals in the mod needs to be re-visited. We're working on a final 2023 update that will improve the oval situation.
Anybody knows why this mode is without engine sound?

Guys, can it be that the mod is corrupt now after the latest AMS-patches? Currently I´m racing Road America, but strangely the laptimes are way higher than normally. When realistic laptimes are in the 1:40´s, now even the pole will be at a 2:00´s... When running the F USA cars, the laptimes appear normally... Really strange...

It's not corrupt. My previous reply probably also applies to your issue:

It's especially noticeable on ovals - but probably also explains what you're seeing at Road America. Hoping to have some news on an update soon.

At last, an update! v2.2

Only a few months late (;)) - a final major update for the 2023 IndyCar season is ready to go. This fixes a few broken things, adds lots of new things and updates some other things to better reflect the second half of the 2023 season.

Changelog:
  • Incorporates patches previously released (elsewhere) for sound and pitcrew issues, and optional transparent aeroscreen pillar.
  • Many new liveries (up to four liveries per car across road, short oval, speedway and super speedway...

Fantastic mod, thanks for all the hard work. One issue that Ive come across in a couple of scenarios - the ai running out of fuel on the last lap and most of the field DNF. For example, Indianapolis road course 30 minute race +1 lap with 3x fuel/tire wear. Tried this race with Formula USA 2023 and everything works fine, all the AI finish the race, however with the Indy mod theres a refuelling issue leading to the majority of cars DNF

Thanks for the report - will look into this, but not sure yet if it's something we can resolve or if may relate to an underlying Reiza issue. Do you know if it only happens in timed (+1 lap) races, or with an equivalent fixed number of laps too?
