I sthere a way back to RF2 v1132?

Beta tab in steam gives me the possibility to go back to last stable (v1133)and some very old versions of RF2 (v1125, old UI). Is there a way to go back to v1132, maybe with some startup options or similar? Any help appreciated.

I was only thinking about this last night. I race with a group of friends and AI in multiplayer and the AI are significantly worse in multiplayer than in single player. We’ve persevered for long enough but really need to roll back to v1132 if we’re going to continue enjoying the sim together.

Unfortuantly there is not, only 1133

You can probably ask Alex.s on discord, he has access to create such betas. Wether they want to or not I don't know. But i know i asked to get 1133 on a branch, because if they update now 1133 which is super stable to me is gone.
What do you need from 1132 that is crucial? ai?

yes, it is AI related.

Its because of things like this or being rammed by the AI from behind, which was introduced with v1133. v1132 doesnt had these issues

For me it's AI also. I'm ok with v1133 in single player as the mods I use work very well with the current release but in multiplayer, the AI don't seem to be able to detect the players properly. Even if there's just one player on the server.

Just talked to one of the devs, there shouldn't really have been updates between those 2 builds to AI.
Reach out to studio after LMU release and i am sure you can ask for a branch on steam to have 1332 to test.

There was no update between v1133/v1134 but between v1132/v1133. The actual AI would be really great but for me it seems that some AI drivers (not all) has lost the ability to react to other cars or dont "see" them since v1133. Another example:
(sorry for the bad video quality)

v1132 - the AI reacts to the "wrecked" car in the pitlane

v1133 - same situation but instead of braking and driving around like in v1132 AI rams the car out of the way. I know it is a mod track but this could be reproduced also at official tracks

i will do so. Thanks for using old connections

Never got a response from the devs to my question. Some days ago a guy at the S397 forum asked for v1132 in beta tab and got this response: "I don't think we put specific builds on there, just the last one. Not sure what the deal with the 1125 and those is though."

1125 was a specific version with the old-new ui that was put out due to issues with moddev early on.
Go to beta @Manfredk2 and try if 1332 is the correct build now, there is a hotfix that was in an update later, not sure if this was the one. But Alex just uploaded it this morning.

A other user in the Sector397 forum reports the same. It seems that it isn't the correct v1132 version.
When loading a race the version displays "v1133" in the footer.
Maybe Alex can check it and upload the correct one.

good news. Alex made another upload and now v1132 is back in beta tab and in-game
Didn't know that one of the newer builds introduced AI issues – so (since I only race single player against AI) it's probably best that I roll back to 1132 for the time being. Thank you for the info! :)

Can anyone confirm the AI is better in 1132 and not just placebo? I only play offline and would happily roll back, but to be honest, I hate changing things on my PC. lol. If it is in fact better AI in 1132 then I will roll back and lock it in.

i would say so: The AI since v1133 is outstanding good but has issues by ramming or punting other AI and the players car. Dont know what the issue is but for me it seems AI is sometimes not recognizing other cars or it is maybe a to big aggression. They brake where their brakepoint is or keep driving their line, equal if there is a car between or not. Look at my examples above.

v1132 does not have these issues. AI cars "react" to other cars. But AI is not as good (a guy at the S397 forum called it "racey") as v1133/v1134. So if you have no problems with ramming/punting or piling up stay with v1134.
