rF2 Howston Dissenter @ Road Atlanta - Thu 09 Mar 2023

rFactor 2 Racing Club event
Ole likes the tracks in the 1981 F1 tracks pack. Off the top of my head, I always liked the converted AC tracks done originally by John777.... I think that's him, but anyway converted to rF2 by ODB I think. So Watkins Glen, Road America, CTMP etc. Saying that, there was an update for Road Atlanta yesterday. I'll be updating the server this evening so let's hope it's good. :)

1988*
But yes, they look really good, and time-correct. However, some of the layouts aren't that great. So I rarely mention that trackpack.

Any @DIGGA @Heikki21 odb @Schumi21 tracks usually looks good (often converts from other mods), but also works very good. They tend to look very good in dark as well.
Corti's converts looks nice, but might have track limits issues and some weird racing line rubbering (#BuenosAires?)
S.Victor does great work on older tracks to get them to modern standards (Isle of Man & Targa Florio).
Mike Cantwell is really good at getting details on and around the tracks he makes perfect, which adds to the immersion. Sadly he has not yet learned PBR which shows.
Cyruscloud have some great tracks
Also Pittsburgh International looks really nice!

Whoever made the Knockhill and the Crystal Palace tacks are studio level good. I really like Road Atlanta, but there always seems to be whiteout like glare on some corners in the sun -going up the hill into t2. I've never gotten to the solution to fix it.

Track seems fine to me. Anybody having DQ issues?#

Sorry to those of you who were looking forward to the t280. If there it ever gets fixed I'll be straight back on it.

I did say they were surprisingly easy to drive around here...Then I tried them on a green track...:roflmao:
Aw c'mo-o-o-o-n. :roflmao:
We will just have to rubber the track in.
Shouldn't take long in these.
Slideways by name...... :D
With the lola, maybe I could have taken the risk of entering the race without practice, but with the howston, I don't think is a good idea!!
No problem Luca.
I hope that your work/life balance will swing to the fun side soon. We are always pleased to have you join us. Thanks for the things that you contribute - you know what those things are - and hopefully we will see you on track soon.
