How would you rate the AI?

Well they're bad. Part of me not enjoying racing against the AI is also due to the fact that collision mechanics in AC are bad, a little tap just sends you flying.

FYI - I tried racing @ Monza with the new AUDI and a bunch (Full Grid) of GT3 cars and tried to deliberately tap the cars in front and as I thought they reacted very much like what I had expected a real car would do in real life. I wasn't flying anywhere and the AI guys weren't either.

Not a hint of what you are talking about !

Sounds more like you're trolling to me and more so if you cant prove it with a recent video.

Hexagramme + associat0r = same person. I doubt he truly loves rFactor 2 so much otherwise he wouldn't spend so much time trolling around on all existing forums regarding assetto corsa. What does really touch my nerves are racedepartment's staff members/moderators. Cos they allow all this casino to happen.. We all perfectly know that hexagramme is trolling

They're not breaking the rules. If you can find a breach in our terms of service then please, be my guest and report it and we'll handle it. This is a place for discussion. Just because someone has a different opinion to you doesn't mean they're not allowed to post here.

The staff are all well aware of the reputations of Hex and Associator and whilst we may not always agree with what they post, we do at least respect their right to post on our forum so long as it's within the rules.

Disagree with them? Well how about explaining why you disagree, perhaps even provide your own video evidence (as Fernando has done) to add some actual substance to your posts instead of just calling them trolls.

is funny the minute you pop over to the ISI forums to note something negative about good ol rf2, guess whos there to defend it. Yeah but im done with them both, they dont offer anything constructive to AC or actually to RF2! just mindless fanboyism.

I drove a lot last night, nurburgring with the Taatus and the SLS gt3, and the AI were pretty damn effective, even to the point if i got a bad exit from the last turn onto the straight, and the AI were behind me i would get drafted down the straight and pretty much out braked into the first corner. Ive not seen the drastic BS AI that hex has posted. I find the Ai just as challenging /annoying as any other ISI sim.

I also had a couple of really intense Monza GT3 races yesterday with the AI @ 100% and driving the new AUDI and Huracán. :D:D:D

Sometimes they do take me out for no apparent reason like they aren't aware of me but absolutely not as severe as before and I am quite certain Stefano will fix this sooner or later.

Just a few weeks ago I thought AC would just remain as the best hot lap sim but the 1.3 has completely changed my mind and the new fantastic FFB and tire model is adding to the awesomeness.

I am really excited about the future of AC now and Dirt Rally is a great complement when I want to get down a dirty with some intense rally racing.

I'd say the AI decent and definitely raceable. On a 24 car grid with track grip at 94% and AI at 100% they run away from me on the ring. In T1 chicane the slow down or stop for a bit but then they continue. You see a car or two offroading for a bit as well as one or two retire. Definitely more raceable than most public servers. Not to mention you have to do your part and drive responsibly.

Sure the AI drivers are dangerously slow in some places but generally speaking the 1.3 is a huge radical step forward both regarding AI, FFB and Tire model.

rf2 is fine, AC is fine, GSCE is fine, PCars is fine, Race07 is still fine (in my book, at least until someone else comes up with as much Touring content)..... etc

They are all fine.

They all offer something different, they all have strengths and weaknesses.

Up to you to decide whether you're a negative person who wants to spend their precious spare time whining and crying about the negatives, or someone who is smart enough to enjoy them all for the great time they offer us sim fans.

I omitted any that offer a rental only product, poet not down with that.

However, as a product, and for those happy with that model of business I'm sure it's actually a great product. :)

i dont think rf2 is far advanced as some poeple like to think.

Physic's & FFB wise it's definitely up there with the best sims on the market.
Content wise it's not that advanced perhaps and relying on the moding community regarding content might not be the smartest solution IMO !

I will definitely buy rF2 once it is available on the Steam platform :)

I'm sorry, it seems you guys want an echo chamber rather than a forum.
@Enzo Fazzi, I suggest you don't waste your breath in here.

In the interest of not derailing this thread (if it's even possible), I'll shut up now.

K thx bye
