How on Earth do you get the Historic GT mod to work?

Had 3 hours trying,installed loads of mods before without problems but this one has me beat.
I'm trying to do a standalone mod but the installer can't find my rfactor directory.

It finds my gtl steam folder but not the rfactor one so my Historic dir has no exe files in it.
Do I just copy the rfactor exe into it?

Driving me nuts.

here is where to put them
HistorX\UserData\User Name\Settings
Find the track you want to put ti in and you are good to go

When I try to install hGTTC 1.96 and pick steam it says i need to play gtl before installing it. i did and it still says the same message...

Why would you wanna do that? Some of the models are from GTL, so it would be stealing. GTL can be bought for very little money. HistorX is worth more than the cost of GTL IMO.

Will Its install in Lite Version? I've downloaded the EXE File and install it!
