This i have but al is to personal situation and likes
[Porsche 911S 2.0]
MaxForceAtSteeringRack=1900.000000 2.500.000000 is just a default setting you can also put 5.500.00000 just what you like
SteeringDamper=11500.000000 and then i drive with 365.0000 but that i like
FFBMixerRealFeelPercent=100.000000
FrontGripEffect=0.000000
SmoothingLevel=0 is also personal this is what i use you can ajust what you want
Kf=4000.000000 like Reb. say make chance and see what you like
Ks=7.000000
A=1.500000
Kr=3.000000
But iam sure the thing you described before has nothing to do with this Its not matching your wheel degrees with the car degrees not every car has same steering degrees. in the profiler of my wheel i adjust the degrees according too the car i drive i have saved several profiles and just pick what i need like in iracing adjust degrees same as not every car has same steering lock

Take a look at what I posted and you will see that the maxforceatsteeringrack value was set to a negative number. All of the other cars had a positive number. I changed it to a positive value and the sensation I described went away.

I have no idea why it was set at negative. My problem was fixed though. Thanks for your feedback guys. Always appreciated!

lol did not even see that negative sign :cool: thats not good but anyway all what i wrote stays correct all is set to what one like ,
good its solved have fun

I just spent a while driving this combination in AMS with this mod:

The #312 Malcolm Ford Escort RS MkI (GTC_TC 76) and the Porsche 914/6 GT (GTC_TC76) for several laps at
Guapore. This mod is fantastic fun on Reiza tracks and any of the tracks in the AMS track Megapack (thanks to @Patrick Giranthon and his collaborators).

I won't post my embarrassing times but.... OMG, so much fun! Try it and post up what you think.

I found the same issue with some of the BMWs. Where the MaxForceatSteeringRack value was set to a negative value. I was getting the same steering feeling in the CSL that I had in some of the Porsche so I went into the RealFeel settings and just deleted the - (minus sign) then saved it and the steering felt perfect. Hoope this helps.

BTW - I am using a Thrustmaster TX wheel.

Yes in ams this is common happens with.more almost all cars in historic .but no need to go in ini just in car do ctrl+nmpd8 and it reverses ffb and it also will be safed to your car in ini file also all other settings that you change in car with ctr+numpad 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 or 9

Hi,

First off, thank you very much for the mod. It's been my go-to in AMS for month now and I honestly have had more fun with it than any other car pack.

However, a fairly recent issue has cropped up where the AH sprite will appear to not have a body when looking at other cars. The car the camera is following looks fine, even the AI cars when looking at them in the monitor, but all the other cars look like they have completely clear panels. The DDS file is there and looks fine, and the grille/headlights show up in game, but the rest of the body doesn't seem to exist.

If anyone has any idea what may be causing this, I'd absolutely love the help; this is possibly my favorite car to drive in-game and I miss AI races with it.

hi
you cant really srew up your ini , if you take another care then the settings are default again you only changed the ini from the cars you just used and changed.

i put in my ini file its good for ams and the ams historic mod just put in your main rootfile and overwrite if asked .
Hello , sorry to bring this back up but i just found it .
You say that VehicleDelimiterSize=17 but mine is VehicleDelimiterSize=5
? Should i change it to =17 still or leave it at =5 ? what does it even do ?

VehicleDelimiterSize is how many characters that RealFeelPlugin.ini will use of a vehicles .veh file's Description line to make an entry in the RealFeelPlugin.ini. DO NOT CHANGE IT unless you want to customize RealFeel for every, single, car in the entire game.

You most definitely want to leave it at the Automobilista default of 5. If you change it, every vehicle you use will constantly be making a new 17 character length entry into your RealFeelPlugin.ini file. And since it will be unique and new, it will use default settings. You'll even have your stock/vanilla content now be defaulting new entries. And default is not what you're after if you use the RealFeelPlugin. AMS has a set catalog of 5 character prefixes on all their content, and most well put together mods use the same. If you start using 17 or 18 characters of the .veh Description lines you're beginning to include the driver names and such. And they will not match the so-called catalog of entries. It just makes a mess of entries and they'll all be default.

This mod comes with suggested RealFeelPlugin.ini entries formulated to the Reiza 5 character standard. Simply copy and paste those into the bottom of your RealFeelPlugin.ini file and everything will work smooth.

The file you're after is RealFeelPlugin_HX.ini in the HISTORX_AVO_v06.rar file you download here from RD. It is setup to use the AMS 5 character standard. Ignore the RealFeel suggestions/file in the original because they are for GSC not AMS (RealFeelPlugin Historic GT & Touring Cars v1.96 GSC.ini in GSC_Historic_GT_Touring_Cars_v1.97.rar = ignore).

Many of the cars will feel better if they re NOT using the AMS default Realfeel setting. But no problem, just adjust them using the Realfeel keyboard shortcuts as you drive them.

But remember to backup your Realfeel.ini file because it gets wiped back to default every time AMS is updated on Steam.

hi I just discovered this mod.
I've installed it and some cars work, while others don't.
I seem to be getting a lot of CTD's or it just hands in loading.
any help would be appreciated.

there doesn't seem to be any consistency to it.
I load a race with the A0 choose the fiat and it loads and runs fine.
Try the same race and choose the mini CTD.
Go back to the first choice and CTD.
the same in other classes.
Works randomly the falcon worked then didn't.
The CTD's are a hassle but the lockups requiring a hard reboot are dangerous.

I downloaded the 8 zip files on the first page of this post, extracted them through the first file and installed them.
I then downloaded the naming update and installed it.
I also copied the real feel HX into the real feel ini.
Did I miss something.
I think I've got it done correctly

I think I have a probable cause.
It seem to have something to do with the quantity selection.
If I set up a race and using the quantity selection ( check mark red )
and set 26 of the same car CTD.
If I set up the same race with quantity selection off and set 26 cars in the grid size setting
it loads just fine.
this will happen consistently.
It also seems to occur when one car on the list has more cars than the others

PS: yes it seems to have everything to do with the quantity selection.
As long as quantity selection is off and I let the game select the grid configuration I have no issues.

PSS: Now onto setting FFB

Naah, i tested the following: GTTC A0 class, selected vehicle: Alpine. Selected all race classes on the opponent selection but manual quantity selection was off. Grid size set to 24 and track was Oulton Park Fosters. And it consistently crashes.

I don't know if AMS has any kind of debug mode to enable logging.

Edit: Just tried it messing the manual quantity selection with the caterhams and it crashes, too. So it seems to be a general issue... :(

Edit2: Try turning off DynHUD.
