No idea what the problem is. Could be the mip mapping, but as for me, it looks good ingame. Might be some issue with the settings I guess.
I use the SD version on my PC and it looks alright.
I will see and make a different DDS version

I had the same problem with your helmets for last years game ( f1 2012) but then you did some magic and afterwards the helmets were looking fine. :-D
