You've got to admire Alonso for going for the Triple Crown. I never realised how close Montoya is, if he entered and won Le Mans 24 Hour he would only be the second driver in history to win all three.

Formula One is largely luck. The luck of being in the right car at the right time. Alonso has won less championships than he deserves because of the team he was in, whereas Hamilton has always been in the best team, but has won less due to his own errors/temperament.

Life isn't fair folks.
