Indycar is looking to have the cooler and sleeker solution, if F1 doesn't get the next engine regs just right I could see Indy becoming as popular if not more-so than it was in the 90's at the cost of F1.
Personally I wouldn't mind, the racing in F1 is incredibly dull these days even if last year was a bit better about it.
