Cannot connect to lobby

Hi all, new to GTR2. I am having problems with lobby, I have been on twice so far, yesterday aft and today. Ihave not been able to connect last night or tonight it just comes up with 'login failed: General error'.
Can anybody help?

I wouldn't go as far as to say the WSGT mod is crap, but I would say that the original GT cars are more realistic, more detailed and closer to each other in terms of performance.
