Not Gonna Pay For An Oil Slick

WOW...I've been waiting years to try this game out (dont ask why). I downloaded the demo and hate it. Whats up with the funky handling of the cars, the tires seem to want to stick to everything but the road, its like an oil slick, the car goes evrywhere. And, whats up with the breaks, they hardly work and sometimes the car doesnt turn in corners even when you let off the gas or ride the brake or even do nothing but turn. And whats the damage crap all about, after some crashes my car is like stuck in 1st gear with a flat tire...THAT SUCKS.

Bottom line, if you want (I assume a extremely realistic game) with cars (again I assume) that handle like the real deal then this game is for you. If you want a game with alot less crash, alot more go-fast and just as realistic get any of the newer need for speed (especially underground) games, they are by far ALOT better IMO!

If I were to rate this game from 1-10 I give it a 3-4...overall I think it sucks! Sorry!

GTR2 is full on sim racing no forgiveness like the Need sor speed titles. Sorry to say the need for speed titles are arcade racers there no real physics involved.

The only way your going to get to grips with GTR2 is to practise. Start with a less technical track and take it easy. Also till you get to real grips with the sim keep all the AIDs on there there to help once you get a feel for the car slowly either knock the aids down or turn them off.

This way as you grow so does your skills.

Ok thanks...I guess I like arcade games better than sims, least thats what I'm used to and grew up with in the early 80's as a young teen, we didnt have sims (I dont think) or had fancy home computers...ha, love your tagline by the way.

We also like to advice for this track to keep in mind the 2 wheel rule. BUT, it is not allowed to touch or use the grass as runoff area or cutting just to improve time. We will keep an eye on this.
