GTR2 works fine without the patch but when I install it it doesnt work. I have tried being administrator but that hasnt solved it.

Qual 13th Finish 10th

I remember giggling at the briefing,thinking..."who would be stupid enough to spin off on the formation lap and have to drop to the back??"....so then on the formation lap i spun at the stadium,and duly waited for the entire field to go past me rolling over the S/F line 24th.
First stint had no real events,plenty of overtaking though,given the room to do so every time by gentlemen racers,after my stop with no tyre changes i seemed to have dropped further than i expected,then it got a bit strange with leaders going past,then being a fair bit slower,i made a couple of nervous gestures of getting passed them again to unlap myself and get on out of there life and move up to battle for places in my own race in another postcode from them,but it was made clear i would not be getting to unlap myself,so went around at crippled tyres leaders pace,then i got caught by my chasers,one in particular doing laughable attempts at passing putting us both off the first time,then the next attempt was just a rough barge past from way back,the kind of pass that makes your conscience give the place back again asap,anyhoo,glad to finish at all after the 20 laps worth of Watkins then blow-up,and overall some great racing with many drivers,nice little tussle with SamJ stands out :thumb:.

What a shambles.

A stupidly hard game to play anyway then I couldnt get a decent time in qualy because I either spun or was booted off the track.
The race was a mess, got a stop/go for doing nothing - my car was rolling and i couldnt do much about it. A few corners in and i was pitched into a huge flip which surprisingly did no damage to my car.
Came in for my stop/go to find it wasnt cancelled

Exited the pit and 'spun' off as I lost all desire to race after that.
Sorry for being a grumpy bugger but until I find some way of making this game playable and find out how to make a stop/go count im giving it a wide berth.

Sorry you had a bad race,
I had a great time apart from having to wait for my pit spot for 15 secs because another car was in there, 9th that will do me.

Qual: 1st Finish:1st <----(not something i type in my posts often)

Great qual battle with Leeroy,took pole by .016,got a good start as well,combined with some tight battling going on behind at T1 gave me room to do a relaxed first lap to settle in,then started to speed up as the car came good,pitted at the halfway mark and only changed the rear tyres and took on another 100ltrs hoping to finish on that,Leeroy was putting on a good second stint push closing the gap down seriously until he made is final stop,he came out just ahead of me,my hopes for a one stopper started to fade,so i ran it until it was almost dry and pitted with two laps to go and took a splash and dash of fuel,came out still in the lead and cruised it home for a satisfying win considering the quality of drivers there.

Also big thanks to all blue flag guys tonight,i didnt do any in-game thanks for all the really nice way you all let me through,i tend to go off if i look away for a split second to type.

Sorry to hear that Andy, the start was a mite hectic.. putting it very mildly.
I too, got a stop n go.. but mines was for passing before the startline. It was either pass, or hit (those infront), I chose to pass. But by turn one, the easy start had been forgotten, and peeps didn't want to lose any oppurtunity to get past. And I saw you (or someone) fly in my rearview, at Coppice.. wow..
I did my stop n go (which is actually a 10sec stop), and got the okay to go. From then on, it seemed to be plain sailing. I was catching peeps and others took themselves off. I got all the way to 2nd (from 21st) before I pitted. I think I might've been about to go a lap down, about 25 or so minutes in. I did my normal pitstop and returned to the fray, in 8th.
Again, all seemed to go well from then on.. same story as in the first stint. And with some good luck, I came away with third. Still with enough fuel to do the cooling down lap with Rob.

Thankyou for coming up with this idea Rob, amazing race... Thanks to the smurfs (penguin?) for organisation, and to all for turning out.

Grats to Gary and LeeRoy worthy winner n runner up.

Nice race!

extremely nice race, very clean overtake and all... gentle 1st lap with the time to heat the tires..

the time scale was very nice for pitstops and all. I was with the Maserati:thumb:, i finished 11th in qualy (luck) and i finished 6th in race. i am very happy of me, it was my first complete race with this car and i did only one mistake on the last laps.

We need more time based races like this, they're great fun and bring strategy to play. People don't rush as much as in Race.
Maybe with the NGT's next time *hint*

Thanks to everyone, great racing. Despite getting caught up in a couple of earl incidents involving spun cars, I managed to claw back to 8th because of Gareths misfortune.
Would of hoped for higher except of the incidents and I left my first pit stop too long
