RaceRoom Racing Experience is set to be updated later this month, and as an added bonus Sector3 Studios have confirmed the long awaited GT4 class is beginning to take shape..

As well as the usual update to the base game, the November 2018 release will also include some new content to purchase by way of DLC - the long ago announced KTM Xbow GT4 now confirmed to be joining the Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport MR in the latest category of GT racing in the simulation, GT4.

The Xbow GT4 has been around for a while now in Sector3 Studios land, having initially been teased all the way back in February 2017 (!), and now finally the car will be arriving in the title as purchasable DLC within the simulation, coming with a range of liveries, marking a welcomed start to a hopefully soon to expand GT4 category of racing.

Joining the KTM will be another version of the popular Porsche Cayman, this time adding the Cayman GT4 Clubsport MR to the new category. Although another Cayman, the Clubsport MR differs from the Manthey Racing Cayman Trophy in that it benefits from lower weight due to the carbon fibre doors and bonnet, adjustable wings, dampers and the in-car adjustable brake bias.

Faster than the KTM in a straight line, but more challenging in the turns, the Cayman should make for a very entertaining playmate to the Xbow in the GT4 category, a type of racing that is sure to be popular with RaceRoom players.

With both cars confirmed as part of the new patch, Sector3 have also teased a little surprise next week as well.. which could be exciting.

If you are interested in how these cars feel in game, and want to know a little bit more about the development process and all things RaceRoom going forward, pop over to the RaceDepartment Twitch TV channel on Friday 23rd November for a live test drive and interview with Sector3 Studios! We will be driving the new content, talking about the update and sharing plenty of exciting information. If you watch JF's stream, he mentions a GT3 car filter is coming, as are a raft of new features, cleaning up of the UI, one new motor and one with a race kit added (to make it driveable) and to top it off a surprise. Not to mention the talk and drive on here a week Friday (23rd) with more news and announcements. So there's a chance a few people will get their wish list stockings filled this Christmas. JF also mentioned adding to the GT3 stable, now that would be a surprise!

...too late.... was waiting for the KTM since they announced it (years ago...), now the car is not used IRL (1 in french championship, and 2 in European, that's all), it's too late for it.
Generally speaking this "game" (RR) lost me : too many time for working on physics, still lots of room for improving brake, tyres etc... i'm off. Have tried TCR last time I used this title : was great, but not enough "realistic" for what i'm hoping...
See you RE3

Announced in February chap!
If the release of the Porsche 917 was announced, would this too be swept aside as it doesn't run in a current series?
The WTCR's are a nightmare to drive fast but the rewards when the penny drops is exhilarating, only takes a few laps and a bit of Brake/Throttle dancing or 577 laps and a world tour of River Dance, in your reality.
Things do come to those who wait!

Today started the Black Friday Sale of Raceroom. I think about buying the Premium Version for 74,84 € and ask if the November Update is already inkluded. I am a little confused, because i can see Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport MR is in the store but not the KTM Xbow GT4.

- get vrp pack for additional savings
- you get what you see in the pack's content in the shop, no future content included

there's also "jardier" code for additional -5% (i hope its not too late)
I bought the VRP and the Premium Pack. I had the luck that the shop showed at that time only 6898 VRP instead of 7499 VRP. So what is 6898 VRP in EURO... Tata... here it comes

1 VRP = 64,99EUR / 10.000 VRP = 0,006499 EUR
6898 VRP * 0,006499 EUR = 44,83 EUR

Is 44,83 EUR not a very fair price for the Premium Pack. Dont know if i got the "jardier" code. Maybe you can give more information for the other potential buyers...
