Can I give it a go please @Chris Down ? If it's ok, I'll download the track later today and have a play with the different cars as I'm new to AC and not driven any of them in the game yet.

I think this newbie old fart may do this as I just got my premium membership updated last night, and I am trying to make sure I have all the necessary apps and such. Bad part is I have a dodgy old headset, but it'll work.

I am unsure of what car I want at the moment, but I will get that figured out soon.

I am apologizing now for the newb questions, so here is my first. To get onto the server, where am I to enter that info? Does that mean to get on track with others or is that for Teamspeak?

Hi @LTNINGFan - I went though the same process yesterday. There are two servers:

1. The teamspeak one for voice chat - instructions on setup are here https://www.racedepartment.com/thre...eating-a-bookmark-for-race-department.102253/

2. the Assetto Corsa server hosting the actual race. If you go to the 'online' option in AC and search for 'race department' you should hopefully be able to find it

Passwords for both servers can be found here https://www.racedepartment.com/threads/racing-club-teamspeak-passwords.10977/

BTW all the above info (and more) is also on the very first post of this thread. I recommend checking it out and reviewing all the links

EDIT: forgot to mention, you should definitely review the recommended apps for AC!

Thanks Geeky. I did get Teamspeak loaded up before posting this but I have yet to go live with it in a proper setting, as I have just toyed around with it. I did not know of the Assetto Corsa live option though, so I am sure that has answered it for me

Sorry, it's actually 'online' @LTNINGFan

. I just fired it up to check, but that is in Content Manager. I'll switch the standard AC UI to see if it's the same option

EDIT: yeah, online in the standard UI too, but it's only showing the practice for yesterdays track at Mosport for now so you might need to check again later tonight or tomorrow

Gotcha, thanks for checking. I bet Chris hasn't had a chance to get it setup for practice. yet.
