It feels good to race, it's been a while! I was trying to keep up with the Nissans as much as I could with my SLS, quite happy with my pace. Race 2 and its reverse grid was an experimentation for me, using soft and pitting early, avoiding traffic. Quite a lonely race then? Hell no, I was pushing hard until the leaders pitted. I managed to get passed @Si, but he was gaining back a second per lap in softs! Needless to say the finish was under pressure.
This two race format is nice. It not only gives you a second chance if you screw up race 1, but the reverse grid also redistributes the cards, giving some intense pack action! Having to use the two tyre compounds makes it even better. Compared to endurances races and the usual 40-mins races, this format is maybe more likely to be fun without much preparation. In the end, variety brings exitement! Thanks @Si for keeping the racing club alive.
