I can't really do anything server side at this point because it may cause checksum issues, plus some guys may not be as comfortable driving in low light. I'll be using the dynamic lights mod you've linked and a pp filter called City By Night. It makes it dark enough for me. Replays are insane

Stock weather is dark enough that the lights patch helps, at this time of day - getting some odd performance hits with the lights online tho even on an empty server, oddly enough it's fine offline...

Please note that the authors are updating the circuit with great frequency (kudos to them for diligence) so, if you get a checksum error, it is probably because you don't have the current version of the track.

As of this Post the current version of the track is v 2.05.

That's weird, I've been goofing off with 4 and guys and haven't had any issues. I'll look into it more.

I have a twin GPU setup so I can run 7680x1440, it's extremely sensitive to any performance issues. Still not sure what being on an empty server has to do with anything though, that shouldn't touch anything graphical.

Guys, seriously, if you don't have any of the mods we're using just look and see what it can be.

It's not perfect, but it'll do until ACC and it's being updated almost daily. Don't worry, it won't be this dark on your pc unless you use a dark filter.

Well, can't see what's going on with the lights, but I can see enough without them that I can see the track, although I'm not sure about eyestrain. Still going to race regardless.

I don't think the lights help, but after testing a bit more I seem to be having problems with this version of the track - can't pinpoint what it is but I get bursts of really bad fps in roughly the same places. Very odd, not sure what to do about it at the moment.

I ran the DRM cars around for a while without the same issues... hmm.

I always see this on races. how are you supposed to mess with Variation.
I've set the wind speed to go between 1-5kph SW in Content manager. But where is this variation 20?

You can't change it. Just set the wind to a SW direction for offline practice or you can jump on the practice server
