That was frustrating as hell.
Somehow ended up with pole, but that was because
@Cristian Haba didn't do a qualifying lap I believe
. Knew being up front wouldn't last long, and it only took till corner 1. Too much gas on acceleration.

@Chris James on the accident at the 2nd Lesmos and that little tap damaged my front wing, and I ended up flatspotting my tyres. Compromised turn in because of the damaged wing, and the flatspots screwed things more than I thought it would. Probably shoulda pitted to get things fixed.
I've never complained about the penalty system that Kunos implemented, but its ****ed up. Got one penalty at the 2nd chicane, it was fair. I was slow so going under 35kph wasn't a problem. Next lap, I did the same, it started to give me the same slow to 35kph penalty and then basically gave me a double penalty and now I had to "slow down for 20s". I was doing like 10kph at that time and couldn't figure out what the game wanted me to do and it kept resetting the 20s. Even stopped and as soon as I lifted my foot off of the gas it reset the timer again. *Sigh*. That penalty ended up costing me about 50s when it was over with.
This was the first time driving the Vette and I just kept locking up under braking. I don't have the same problem with the 458 GT2. Might have had something to do with wing damage and the flat spotted tyres. dunno.
With ~ 5 laps left I pitted for some soft tyres and finally was able to drive halfway decent and put in some good times, but I was nearly a lap down by then.
