For guidence. Saw a very fast driver in the Porsche do 2.05.7 in race yesterday . My fastets time in the McL in race was 2.09.5.
Also saw lost of incidents in T1 en at the Busstop chicane. These cars are very fast, dont have ABS so lockup will happen (and they will understeer like a boat as a result). So please be fair to each other and wait for the actual opportunity before passing.
Regarding challenges I met untill now. I cant get the tyres of the MacLaren above 70 degrees C. 85 being the optimum I have read. Any adviseon this is welcome. Also, compared to the default bringing Brake Balance to the back helped a great deal to avoid lockup and understeer at turn in.

Tried the McLaren today, and while it's nice to drive, it can be a bit frustrating not being able to defend yourself, especially on corner exits. Best time I managed was a 2:08 flat, compared to the 2:05.5-ish in the Porsche last week. Not sure yet if I'm gonna stick with the V12 screamy boi

@all but especially the very fast. It seems the Porsche is a good tad faster then the Merc wich is faster then the McLaren. Ill be driving the McLaren because it drives best imo opinion and its sound. If you are a very fast driver, join me in the McLaren so we can try keeping the grid together as much as possible. So far I've only played AMS2 to admire the graphics. Hardly any multiplayer.

Me Porsche, and I hope the server issues have been fixed. Only race on AMS2 twice, every time there were issues, but that was ages ago.

Guido runs his own server @Kek700 / @H_Belane, so you only need to register here.

You don't have to name the car beforehand, just choose the one you want and the livery when you join. Note that if you do disconnect and reconnect, just check it doesn't present a different car when you re-join!

Touch wood, things appear to be a *lot* more stable recently.

@H_Belane no worries. Just be relaxed and dont try to win the race in T1 (most get lost there). Enjoy our format and respect others, I am sure you will have a good time. Car you can choose (and Livery) once you join the Lobby. Dont forget to download the skinpack for extra immersion.

I’ve tried the Porsche and McLaren, I get on better with the Porsche. I think any pace advantage with that car will not be an issue for me I prefer the older chicane to the current one, but La Source is proving tricky.

My best in the Porsche is nearly 2 seconds slower than Yannicks in the Macca. I can probably get a half second off that. @Guido Trampe is there going to be a pedestrian class?
