Some of the cars are less snappy, but the overall driving experience is more refined and communicative. The feeling from the tyres is really good.

So I was just enjoying some practice laps with the interface off and when I turned it on after 13 laps I noticed 50% of my front right was gone. Did I just bork it up somewhere along the track or is this a common wear pattern on this track? You'd expect the front left to be gone given the clockwise direction of the track.

I was in the mclaren and all other tires were just fine so I wonder if I did something to cause this.

I did 11 laps and the wear was pretty even

I don't tend to trail brake much in this car though and I was still learning the track so likely not pushing the car anywhere near it's limits

This was normal wear levels. Could not see where to set it in the session/race settings

Hello Bas and Eric, I will add you. Cars are somewhat different. Porsche is fastest, McLaren slowest of the 3 (but best sound driving experience imo). I do not know what the effcts of latest update are. Could not do a lap yet since last week.

I'm not sure the Porsche is definitively faster than the Merc. I think it really depends on driving style as I can usually get a bit more out of the Merc. The McLaren is noticeably slower though. I'm usually about 1.5s down from the Merc/Porsche in it, but I find it a lot more fun to drive

@all drivers. Last session we had a 10 min practise between races with, wat I hoped, random grid at start off the race. This was not the case, grid position was determined by when you entered the server.
So this evening there will be qualify between the races to prevent Guido be on pole always in race 2 and 3 .
If you are the faster driver, you are totaly free to qualify in between races, start from pole and do a fast stint to the finish. It will be more fun however for all involved if you start at the back, slowly (we hope...) making your way forward.

If there was an option to script this I would make [IF Position is 1-5 => start at back]. Intelligent creatures as we are, we can for sure manage this ourselfs...
