GT World Challenge Europe isn't a solo sport. As you can see in the picture, drivers race in pairs. They tackle races with their colleague in one car, swapping halfway through. Now we are going to bring you this in a club event ;) Sign up now (or use the thread to find teammates!)

We support good hard racing and just ask you to respect track limits, basic racing etiquette and most importantly, each other.

If you need any help don't hesitate to ask on TeamSpeak... there's no such thing as a stupid question, and others will also benefit and learn something new :)

All premium members can sign up for this event and we have unlimited slots available so make sure to bring a friend. Sign up below and make sure to tag fellow community members who you think are up for a challenge!

TIPS
Here are some driver swap notes (courtesy of @JamieG) to make sure driver swaps go as smoothly as possible:

Until Kunos updates the MP Teams events UI, the following points must be adhered to in order to maximise the chances of a successful Team Event Race. The points listed below are very easy to check and require no special skills.

  1. Drivers must choose the same car, livery and car number. Team names, if used must be identical for all drivers
  2. Do not change your name/tag prior to the race, avoid special characters (see driver list for the event)
  3. Driver 1 on the list must join the server first.
  4. When Driver 2 joins, Driver 1 must be in the pits. Once Driver 1 gets on track, the swap will work
    1. Driver 2's name will be "Requested" in blue once Driver 1 enters the pits for the swap.
    2. If Driver 1 is already on track when Driver 2 joins the server, the swap will NOT work.
  5. Avoid &swap # command if possible (# driver 1, 2, 3, etc)
  6. We haven’t seen problems in Driver 2 doing Qualy but it is not 100% proven
  7. Driver 1 on the list MUST be in car before end of Qualification.
  8. Driver 1 on the list MUST start the race.
  9. Do not attempt to map buttons after entering the server. Please do it off-line.
  10. Do not attempt to enter the car setup if you are not in Drive. It should not be possible but it has happened, resulting in UA4 crash
  11. Make sure Driver 1 on the list (who must be the 1st to enter the server) has the right setup for the car since it will be carried over to driver 2
  12. In case one of the drivers shows offline status in FP or Qualy, both drivers need to restart ACC and attempt again (driver one first, reload the setup, etc.)
  13. In case of offline problems during Race, good luck… Both can rejoin also during Race!

Since we need to preconfigure the server to determine teams, we need you to sign up a little bit differently this time around.

One of you drivers should post the following signup sheet.
(PS. If you prefer your steamID to be kept private, send me a PM with it)
Driver 1: @RaceDepartment username
Steam64ID: 7656....
Driver 2: @RaceDepartment username
Steam64ID: 7656....
What is my Steam64ID?
Yup, anticipated that one. Your Steam64ID is a numerical ID that steam gave your account. You can find it in the URL of your profile (eg. http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/7656119802106****) (unless you set a custom one, then you need a service like this: https://steamidfinder.com/ )
It always starts with 7656 to help you recognize it ;)

Additionally, if you don't have a teammate yet. Post here and I will add you to the main thread as well (including car preference)

Last but not least: Make absolutely sure that you can make it to the event. If you can't make it, your teammate is not going to be happy with you as he can't perform his driver swap.
