AC GT Multiclass @ Laguna Seca - Sunday 13th February 2022

Assetto Corsa Racing Club event
I´am out for tonight. Laguna seca keeps crashing... fatal error... i do not have the time for an repair. sorry.
Particular versions of CSP can cause circuits to crash so you could try v 1.6 if you're not already on it. This seems to be the most stable and only takes a few seconds to change (assuming you're using Content Manager)

You both have 3 minutes to join btw!

Good race today everyone. I never "wish" for opponents to go off track, but as this was my first ever pole :), I didn't "appreciate" @Kek700 driving a very clean speedy race up there ahead of me after I decided to play in the sand early on :cautious::p:thumbsup:.

As for the rest of race, definitely wasn't my cleanest, but I consider making it all (most?) the way around lap 1 still in 1st a great success, as the only other times I've lead races were reverse grids and it was the second race, and I lost it very quickly :D. Took the pit stop about 20 min and it seemed like maybe with the pit stop I might be able to get Ernie down to a sub 10s gap, but it wasn't in the cards. Had a good battle with Richard instead , who eventually pitted, leaving me to myself to finish the race trying to break into the 1:28s, which I managed to do surprisingly. (Not that it got me any closer to Ernie lol)

As always, thanks for hosting Brian, and thanks for all the good driving everyone. Time to fill up the RV and start the drive to Florida . Hoping I can make it this Wednesday. Really want to give the Mazda a go and all this driving with everyone here seems to have made me a little bit faster :).

Had a lot of competition to night, from Robert , Colin and Richard.
.I just had lucky breaks, and Han had not turned up.
Had the inside line into first corner, very difficult to overtake there on the outside, Robert was not settling in well in the first two laps, so grabbed my chance when it was presented.
Took many many laps to shake off Robert, the reality was going to be a mistake or a pit under cut.
But got lucky and Robert lost 4 seconds with an off, that is not an easy gap to close, especially as I was now being careful not to make a mistake, and watching and trying to manage the gap.
Well done podiums, and great bit of organisation Brian @Interslice , shame about the turn out, perhaps , understandably, people don’t like Laguna circuit.:)
