A message to all Drivers

If you run off track, you must check to see that its clear before you re enter the track. Do not just keep the throttle pinned and pull back on track.
On re-entering the track stay off the racing line until you are up to race speed and do not block any fast approaching car.

Always try to re-enter the track parallel to the racing line.

When joining the track from the pits, remain inside the white line and stay off the racing line until you are up to speed.

During qualification, do not race on your out lap, let other drivers by.

Golden Rule
  1. If you hit somebody, sending them off the track and carry on like nothing happened, you take the risk of being banned for 30 days.
  2. Instead, you should always wait for the affected drivers, and that way you can be 100% sure you will not get a ban.
Track limits
  1. No more than 2 wheels over the white/yellow line without a lift of the gas please.
You will be penalized if you break our rules
Note: Please use your full real name in Discord. Not doing so may result in you being kicked from the server if an admin cannot identify you as a premium member.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • It is the responsibility of faster cars to safely overtake slower cars. When a faster car is overtaking a slower car (in a different class), whether a blue flag is being shown to the slower car or not, the slower car should be predictable and remain on the racing line. The faster car should execute the overtake only when it is safe to do so. If a faster car is lapping another car in the same class, then the same rule applies; some cooperation may be required to facilitate the overtake, usually a gentlemanly lift at the start of a straight. Please be sensible.
  • Separate qualification runs will happen for GT3 and GT4 classes. First 10 minutes for GT3 car, second 10 minutes for GT4. GT4 cars must not exit the pits before 10 minutes have elapsed. You may be kicked from the server by race control if you ignore this rule.
  • All of the standard Racing Club Rules still apply to this event.

Great idea Brian, hopefully it will attract more drivers for the Sunday events.

I may have a go in a GT4, not sure yet.

Is the Shaun Clarke Ginetta GT4 mod compatible for future events or is there a power difference?

Ye, needs a BoP unforunately. 10kg and 5% restrictor at last count.. The maserati and porker have more power but they slide about. They're lots of fun, but slower than the Ginetta!

Always preferred the MOTO layout aka. the original layout. Hate the F1 layout  - What's this about multi-class though?

Not sure how to answer this broad question. Is it a passive aggressive way of saying you don't want a multiclass race this weekend or in future?

Please consider turning the road temps up to 30+. Thank you.

You'll need to expand on why you want me to consider this.

Maybe there are some GT4 fans out there and we can get some bigger grids again outside of Spa and Monza. If it doesn't appeal to anyone new and we are just splitting the usual 10-15 regular guys in half, it's obviously a non-runner.
I think it's a good idea. The GT4 is a better step up than the Audi TT.

So where the MX5 is the starting car for newcomers to the Wednesday multiclass, the GT4 can fill that role in the Sunday GT events.

Signed up with a McLaren because well... It's pretty and a lot of other people have selected it! ;)

Some of these kerbs are brutal with the AC tyre model, they just J-hook you straight into a barrier or sandtrap. I've added quite a bit of rearwing to help stabilize the rear under full throttle and at speed. Currently can do a nice 1:47 but I know there's a low 1:46 or 45 given my sector times and that certain corners have a lot of speed hidden into them if you go off the default line.

Also made the the ARB's a notch softer but perhaps I'll switch those back to default.
