A message to all Drivers

If you run off track, you must check to see that its clear before you re enter the track. Do not just keep the throttle pinned and pull back on track.
On re-entering the track stay off the racing line until you are up to race speed and do not block any fast approaching car.

Always try to re-enter the track parallel to the racing line.

When joining the track from the pits, remain inside the white line and stay off the racing line until you are up to speed.

During qualification, do not race on your out lap, let other drivers by.

Golden Rule
  1. If you hit somebody, sending them off the track and carry on like nothing happened, you take the risk of being banned for 30 days.
  2. Instead, you should always wait for the affected drivers, and that way you can be 100% sure you will not get a ban.
Track limits
  1. No more than 2 wheels over the white/yellow line without a lift of the gas please.
You will be penalized if you break our rules
Note: Please use your full real name in Discord. Not doing so may result in you being kicked from the server if an admin cannot identify you as a premium member.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • General guide too multiclass racing - Click here
  • It is the responsibility of faster cars to safely overtake slower cars. When a faster car is overtaking a slower car (a car in a different class), whether a blue flag is being shown to the slower car or not, the slower car should be predictable and remain on the racing line. The faster car should execute the overtake only when it is safe to do so.
  • If a faster car is lapping another car in the same class, the normal gentleman's rule applies; some cooperation may be required to facilitate the overtake, usually a slight lift at the start of a straight. Please be sensible.
  • Separate qualification runs will happen for GT3 and GT4 classes. First 10 minutes for GT3, second 10 minutes for GT4. GT4 cars must not exit the pits before 10 minutes have elapsed. GT3 must not start a lap after 10 minutes have elapsed. You may be kicked from the server by race control if you ignore this rule.
  • All other Racing Club Rules still apply to this event.
  • Discord is highly recomended for all club races, in particular multiclass events.

ROLLING START

RULES

  • No overtaking the car ahead on Lap 1
  • No overlap with the car ahead crossing the Start/Finish line at end of lap 1
Please familiarise yourself with the start finish line at Monza! It is approx 100m after the start of the pit wall!

  • The car on pole dictates the pace. Pace should start very slowly especially through turn 1,2 and 3 then slowly pick up, but it is up to P1 when he wants to 'go'
  • Full pace should not be until at least start of the third sector.

  • Participants to report infringements after the race

Penalties for overtaking before or on the start finish line in a championship below.

There must be some daylight between your car and the car ahead when you cross the start finish line. i.e. No overlap

Small over lap - 5 sec penalty
Front wheel ahead of rear wheel - 10 second penalty.
Front wheel ahead of front wheel - 20 second penalty.
Rear wheel ahead of front wheel - 30 second penalty.

Penalties are cumulative for each car illegally overtaken

If a car goes off track with all 4 wheels off the road he can be legally over taken. That car must rejoin safely and carry on from his new position. No overtaking rule kicks back in and applies again!

'Bolters' on lap 1 will be kicked/banned from championship.

Hi all!

First, sorry for the first 1.3 seconds, where I completely forgot the rolling start... lol. Last time I was racing here was the regular one and it was a normal start... quickly returned to my position. Race overall all right, one overtaking due to an error from the guy which later on took the position back. The track is a long time familiar (since Final Lap on MAME...) but with the Cayman couldn't find anything to help me out.

I couldn't put message on the chat nor connect on the channel on Discord. If later on someone could help me in this matter I would appreciate it.

Have a nice week!

Fabiano.

Great racing as always fellas.

Not much to 'report' but I had a great race nonetheless. Thanks for the first stint battling @Bart Snijders great defending!

Second stint was all about traffic management and chasing down @Casper de Wit and @JamKart22 . Only a couple more laps Colin and we would have had a great battle for p11.

Congrats @HF2000 for the GT4 win and Aki for the GT3 win.

Have a good week everyone! See you all at the next one, cheers. :D:cool:

Got lucky in the first stint when Logan and Bart spun off at the same time and I could snuck through on the inside. Managed to catch up to Colin and have a great race, we both pitted at the same time but I lost my pace, eventually ran wide when I was between two GT4's and couldn't properly correct the car which is obviously on me. Had a big crash at the same point a few laps later and with only 6 minutes to go opted to go back to the pits.

Had some fantastic racing with Colin though, thoroughly enjoyed this!

Just a waiting game for me, just had enough pace to hang on, just. Hap was always shadowing me, any mistakes and i would have been got by Hap, i could see the dots in front of me and just wait'ed for something to happen upfront.
In the last 10 laps, it was a Verstappen and Lewis race with the places constantly changing place, Jens Ferrari was just bullied by the Nissan, close fighting was more akin to a flyweight going head to head with a heavyweight.:roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:
The lucky break was all that divided us in the end, great battle Jens.:)
If it was not a championship I would have surrendered and gone for a comfortable run to the flag.:)
Great racing from everyone, and a special thank-you to @Interslice Brian for the organisation and a well done the @HF2000 Han for his win.
And of course well-done podiums.:)

Great race, thanks Brian as always for organising. I couldn't match the power of the cayman on the straights, I could get a better exit and start to pass only for them to pull away again at about 200kmh. I had a few such battles with Han and Michael but just couldn't pass either. In the end Michael claimed 2nd place by less than 1/10th in front of me :roflmao:

Some lairy GT3 passing, twice I got bombed at the second chicane and each time they overcooked the entry went wide and I had to lift on the exit so as not to hit them. All part of the fun I guess.

Congratulations to the winners of both classes.

Brian thanks for the tip about the pit stop, I will remember that for Spa

Well that was the third intense race in a row this week for me. I got a bit unexpected pole position as I had seen Tim already doing faster laptimes on the practice server. But it was very close with Michael:confused:.
As always after the start I couldn't find my pace and Michael passed me and created a gap of 2 sec. After I found my pace I slowly catched up and could overtake him with a slipstream. Shortly after that Michael disappeared but Tim was closing in after a GT3 did a pass on me in Variante Secunda and blocked my turn it point. It happened twice in following laps and the gap I had was gone.

GT3 guys: such an action will cost the GT4 a lot of time! And I think it does cost yourself also time because you can't take the corner on the raceline. So please next time be patient and wait for the GT4 to enter and leave the corner.

Tim and I battled for quite some laps. He had better pace in the turns but the Cayman had the edge on the straight so I managed to hold him off until he went into the pits. At that moment Michael was also nowhere to see so I concentrated on my lap times, expecting Tim to see in front of me after I pitted. But that wasn't case and for the last 12 minutes I had a gap of about 5s on Michael which I could hold to the end. Very happy with the win!

Congrats to the other podium drivers and thanks Brian for organizing.
And then I'd like to compliment @Taj Johal with his excellent pace in the first stint  ! Don't know about the second but you did great until I didn't see your name anymore on the Realtime app due to the lapping GT3's.

I happened to me also, see my comment above. I don't think it's correct. I don't think this is a save overtake because as a GT4 driver you expect to stay on the raceline but if you and I had done that, we would have turned into the GT3 car and caused a collision.
I won't name here the GT3 drivers but I would like to ask the GT3 drivers to have a look a the replay and see for them selves.
