Got a new helmet for this season! It's been done by my request, but I've been asked (weirdly enough) not to credit the author. :giggle:
edit: according to the below post, everything but the top of the helmet has been copied from the helmet @kedy89 made for @Timmieturner12 in FFG season 2. I don't care much about helmets, so when the author/leecher showed me this helmet I had no idea about this..

Sauber on pole
German Tobi Kederer snatched pole for the season opener, edging out Rinneaho and Utzer. Toyota showed a strong performance to secure 4th and 5th on the grid, ahead of Pablo Diehl. Keranen got 7th in his first outing for Williams, beating the Ferraris of Sigoulakis and Buurlage. Ancevski completes the top 10.

Stellar start for Rinneaho
The vice-champion of last season took the win at the Australian GP, beating Pablo Diehl who showed an impressive performance to finish 2nd. Utzer in 3rd completed the podium.
At the race start Rinneaho had the best reaction, and got past Kederer to take the lead in the first corner. Except for a few laps after his first pitstop he should keep it to the end. Kederer held on to 2nd after a short challenge from Utzer on the run to turn 2. Diehl got past Harvey to 5th, Buurlage worked up from 9th to 6th. Ancevski made his way up to the top 8, passing both Sigoulakis and Keranen. Diehl went on to chase the Toyota of Laskey, and got past after 5 laps.
The first round of stops shuffled the order, Diehl got up to 2nd past Kederer and Utzer. Being on 2 stoppers, both Reed and Goddard got up in the top 8, only for a few laps though until they pitted as well. At that point Kederer was no longer running, his gearbox had failed. Rinneaho enjoyed a 10s lead over Diehl, Utzer a further 5 seconds down the road. Laskey was in 4th, followed by the Ferraris of Buurlage and Sigoulakis, Keranen and Harvey.
No changes in the top 3 after the second stops, however Goddard was back up to 4th, having 1 stop less. Laskey was in 5th, now ahead of Sigoulakis, as Buurlage had made a mistake a bit after his stop, which dropped him to 13th. Keranen and Ancevski were running in 7th and 8th. Goddard then headed to the pits for his final stop, on his outlap though his car rolled out with a gearbox failure.
A couple of laps later the 3 stoppers came in for the final time. No changes again in the top 3, Laskey however had a slow stop which dropped him to 7th. Sigoulakis was up to 4th, Keranen in 5th, and Heymans in 6th thanks to his 2 stop strategy. With only 8 laps to go Keranen's BMW quit the service, costing the Aussie a decent result at his home GP. Engberink profited, as he was up to 8th and in the points now.

FIA Press Conference
@TTupsi: Minardi still seems to have the pace advantage of last season, will we see you guys dominating again?
@Diehl: Podium on your return to Arrows, and the team's best result since 1998. Does it give high hopes for a decent season?
@Benutzername: A rather quiet race in 3rd, was it the maximum possible today?

Market is open!

That didn't quite go as hoped, but at least Matteo got some points. Can't seem to win at Australia ever since we left Adelaide.
