I laugh at that, hats off to Daniel for going through with it, but mate I think that's a poor choice considering that most other times that a driver sacrificed for his teammate early on has been when their team was in the top 2 and they'd won the title themselves.
No point in throwing away your season completely when you've achieved so little beforehand.

The plan was that, if helping Milos didn't show any decent results after, I think, 5 races I'd stop helping and go my own way. As it turned out fortunately/unfortunately (which ever way you look at it) such results did come and we continued with the plan.

It could easily have been the other way around, different result from flipping the coin and if milos didn't win the fifth race

Nonetheless the same tactic won't be used next season

Foro crushes field
In a dominant manner Foro has taken his 3rd pole this season, beating teammate Keranen by over half a second. Hunsley in 3rd the first not-McLaren, alongside Engberink. Kederer took 5th, Ancevski will start from 6th. Sigoulakis put his Prost in 7th, being the last driver within 1s of the pole time. Rinneaho secured 8th, Williams drivers Utzer and Buurlage complete the top 10.

Ancevski reduces gap
Taking back-to-back wins Milos Ancevski has reduced the gap to Hunsley down to 18 points. Helping him was Hunsley's teammate Kederer, who took 2nd ahead of the Brit.
The start didn't bring that much changes at the front, Engberink dropped down to 6th, Sigoulakis to 9th while Buurlage moved up to 7th. At the back of the field Graham and Costello crashed and had to pit for new wings. Utzer ran into troubles with his brake pedal, forcing him to pit. He had to come in again 2 laps later after spinnig in Raidillon and losing his front wing. Meanwhile teammate Buurlage had gotten past Engberink. Hunsley and Keranen were struggling a bit with higher fuel loads, losing places to Ancevski, Kederer and Buurlage. Keranen's race ended when he crashed out in lap 9. Top 6 before the first stops were Foro, Ancevski, Kederer, Buurlage, Hunsley and Rinneaho.
Hunsley took the lead when the one stoppers pitted and kept it until his stop around the halfway point. Ancevski and Foro had swapped places, the rest of the top 6 remained unchanged. A small mistake in lap 22 cost Foro 3rd, Kederer and Buurlage went past. In the following laps he lost 2 more positions to Rinneaho and Black. Hunsley returned in 4th after his stop, 15 seconds behind race leader Ancevski.
This gap didn't change until the final stops, but thanks to the pit entry cutting busstop and a bit of La Source, it was enough for Ancevski to stay ahead of Hunsley. Kederer was in 3rd, followed by Buurlage, Rinneaho and Black. With only 6 laps to go Buurlage's engine blew up, costing him 4th place. Goddard profited as he was promoted into the points. In the same lap Kederer had passed Hunsley for 2nd. Goddard shouldn't hold on to the point, with 3 laps to go his gearbox failed, allowing Sigoulakis to move up to 6th. Ancevski went on to take the win ahead of the two Jordans. Rinneaho took 4th, Black 5th.

FIA Press Conference
@Milos: The finishing order of the Jordans sure must be to your liking?
@Jack Hunsley: Were there no teamorders in place, or did your teammate ignore them?
@Manolis Sigoulakis: Happy to snatch a point today after 2 DNFs in a row?

Market is open!

Definitely happy with how things worked out in the race, but not happy that my points account has only gone up to 3 points, as I would like more. Now I will enter the phase of saving a bit of money, but I am also looking forward to battle with my new teammate, Josh.

RS +20
QS +10

but thanks to the pit entry cutting busstop and a bit of La Source
haha it's always something else I see :whistling:
@Milos: The finishing order of the Jordans sure must be to your liking?
not really, we'd prefer to have the 3rd placed Jordan outside of the points, and couldn't care less about the other Jordan as long as I was ahead. But it's better than Jack in 2nd I have to agree.

I think this was my first good race at Spa in this game :D
