I notice a lot of people in videos are wearing gloves when they (sim) race and I was wondering if a decent pair (Sparco,OMP etc) would be a good investment.
I see the decent pairs are not cheap so was wondering what your thoughts are on them.

Blisters, hate them - and they helped me reach the paddles after mounting a bigger rim to the G27. Bought them in the first place whilst using the standard G27 rim, which has an ugly feeling seam. And you can wash them, if they start to smell funky!

Apart from Not drowning your wheel in sweat

If I am playing for more than 20 minutes, I need my gloves to have a good and consistent grip on the wheel. My hands start to sweat a lot.
