General Setup of the FR 3.5

You can't always hear the car bottoming out. If the ride height is negative then you are definetely bottoming.

You can set minimum ride heights and use packers to stop the car from bottoming. You want to prevent the suspension from going on the packers in the corners. On straights it is fine.

Woupdnt setting min ride heights restrict the amount of suspension travel, so say 18mm at the front with 5mm packer would mean you only have 13mm of suspension travel

I don’t really have a clue about setups but to me that wouldn’t allow much compliance of the front end reguarding weight transitions.

And how do you stop them going on the packers in the corners

Thanks for the reply

If you can see your ride height not changing on the straight. That means you are on the packer. If you note this ride height and then see if the car is reaching this ride height in the corners, you can know if yo are touching the packers in the corners.

This might not be all bad though, if you cant feel the car losing grip you shouldnt worry about it.
You can either raise the ride height or stiffen the springs to stop the car from going on the packer.
