Welcome to the RD Racing Club.

In the weekend of 15/16th June the famous 24hours of Le Mans will take place.
Overtake/Racedepartment honours this with a special Le Mans week with lots of events on this track.
With our FWD vs RWD we're using the Bugatti LeMans circuit. The circuit named after the legendary car constructor Ettore Bugatti supplements the famous circuit used for the 24 Hour Le Mans classic. The shorter layout shares pitlane, paddock and the start/finish area with the main circuit, but heads into the infield after the pedestrian footbridge. These sectors, taken in conjunction with the long Dunlop arc, lend the circuit its unique character.

SPECIAL ATTENTION: in this race the BMW 325i E30 Rally is introduced in the RWD class as an alternative for the Mazda. You have to install it even if you drive another car otherwise you can't join the event. See the event details where to find the mod.

Now I'll be feeling nostalgic for the rest of the weekend I think.

Yes the first time it's quite confusing.

When you have found the car on assettoworld and have clicked on the modsfire button to download, you get the screen with the Generate Link button. Wait until the banners and other commercial stuff has loaded before you click that button. After that you get a Download Link button. Again wait until the stuff is loaded before clicking on it. After that you get a screen with a Download button. Again wait until the stuff is loaded before clicking on it. When you click on the Download button and a totally other screen appears, click on X in the right corner. You will see the Download button again. This time the download begins after your click.

Yes it's not very friendly but I haven't found a better car for the MX5 class yet.

Guys,

I've uploaded another alternative for the MX5, The Renault 5 Turbo Europacup.
It's running already on server 2, replacing the other Renault 5 which was too fast.
You can download the car from assettoworld (dotcom).

This reads like a modern day Monty Python sketch :D

If anyone can't figure out how to download the car, hit me up and I'll send you an easier link. I'm not posting it here because I don't know if I'm allowed.

Here's a setup for the bimmer: https://acstuff.ru/s/HwqyRz

It's a bit understeery and I'm not great at setups so there's lots to improve. It's quite stable though. I go about 8 tenths slower than the Mazda, but I partly blame that on not being used to this car yet.

Oh and to everyone: you really want to change the sound of this car as it's 100 times worse than the Suzuki. :D I use the BMW M3 E30 Gr.A 92.
