The forums are now updated with the newest version of the software.

Will post a more extensive changelog tomorrow of what has changed but for now a couple of important things.

  • As expected the custom theme I made for the forums that matched our frontpage (which is another software) is broken and needs to be fixed or redone completely (i think the latter is best but takes some days to build from scratch)
  • Chat, Videos and the old downloads are (temporary) disabled, will see how many people still use the old downloads otherwise ill remove it completely now.
  • Nicely styled postbits for our Premium Members are gone, will have to rebuild them from scratch today or tomorrow. At least asap!
  • The downloads system we have been using for the last months is intact and will receive a small upgrade later on to iron out some bugs but all files and thingies are there and working.
  • Comments system from the frontpage might be bugged and needs a fix tomorrow morning.
  • Frontpage theme and layout will be redone from scratch as well and take some time.
For now the biggest visible change you will see are affecting mobile users. No longer do you have to swipe to make stuff visible as our forum is now 100% responsive and will match whatever device you are using.
For all the old tapatalk lovers that were disappointed with our decisions to remove it recently, now you know why and we hope you are happy with this more modern approach of reading forums for mobile users.

I normally don't ask for donations but in this case we have invested quite extensively into new software and your help would be much appreciated. If you can miss a penny please do chip in as every bits and pieces make a difference to pay for our growing bills.

There have been a TON of changes made and ill do my best to highlight them for you at a later time.

Enjoy this awesome new software and if you happen to run into bugs or you need help with functionality that has changed please drop a line below and ill help you out!

Robots are little spiders that crawl the web. Some from Google, others from Bing or Baidu or any other respective search engine company. Its actually a good thing unless they come as a plague and eat up your bandwidth :)

What's with the Facebook, Twitter, etc. icons that are on top of every page?

Need to be put somewhere else, IMHO!!
On top of every page? Do you mean those floating share icons all the way to the left?

Can hardly call that on top unless you are using a CTR 800x600 monitor from 1985. If so its time to do a little upgrade on your hardware :)

Can also put them to the right? These icons are used by many to share great content and the default set that displayed on the bottom of each page took literally seconds to load and got overlooked by almost everybody.

In case of problems guys ad screenshots. Everyone has a different browser pc or tablet and without visuals its pretty hard to reproduce anything.

All looks fine here as it is.

touch screen ie 11 still dont work on wn 8 tablet or wp8.:(

@Bram Hengeveld
If i look at the forum through internet explorer i usually set the magnify the page to 125% so i can see it without having to strain my eyes. everything is ok
if i do the same in chrome i get the old problem back were the Rupe Wilson, Inbox, and Alerts drop down onto the black band and are very hard to access with the mouse cursor. Yes i know the solution is not to use 125%
but im just pointing it out in case there is a scaling problem or something:)
1.png side by side internet explorer and chrome at 125%
2.png Chrome at 100% you can see the the Rupe wilson is on the top line and can be accessed with the mouse with no problem
3.png at 125% in chrome it very hard to access the box its a real thin line you have to touch and the Rupe wilson has dropped down one line

4.png if you put your courser over the name nothing is activated.

is it something i just have to live with or is it a problem with Chrome or a problem with ME and what im doing..:)

God damn, it becomes more and more annoying. Each day you discover a new great "old" mod and can't download it anymore. So many stuff is lost now because of what? if it ain't broken, don't fix it. Don't tell me there'd have been no way to move the old microdownloads to an active section or let them stay alive as archive a bit longer so people could take it from there and reupload (because the original people mostly don't do or aren't even active here anymore).
Worst case for a modding community is to lose their mods.

Oh and it is me or is the spoiler feature gone?

Just take a look at the F1 2012 section, no matter if it's Ferrar Flat Nose or Wolf Team (ok that he'll reupload soon, hopefully [whenever soon will be]) or the teams from 1997 season, Monster Team, Red Bull RB9 livery (2013 purple who would not want it), Mitsubishi F1, 1983 Williams Tag Team Car, BAR 001, F138 HD and many many more., shall I really make a list of all the cars and teams which aren't available anymore?
Sorry, but I'm afraid that's not our work to do, in my opinion that's within responsibility of those who change the system.

To be honest, I am a bit disappointed about that.

The ironic part is: If there wouldn't've been such a system to begin with, people would've only posted their mediafire & co download-links and people could still use them.
