Because i cant get into a grove when the trees move faster then the cars the cats are about the slowest thing i can drive ie that was the only car i have won in here at rd

I think these cars are ideal for close racing, and not far off classic Cat pace. So far i've found that reelfeel doesn't work well with them, so using Thommo's ffb settings instead should be fine. (at least for logitech wheel users)

There is a little test server up at the moment (for reasons best known to others, it's only allowing me a 15 slot server, but that's enough for now).

My ffb setting are below in case anyone wants them as a starting point...

Code:
[ Force Feedback ]
FFB Device Type="1" // Type of FFB controller: 0=none 1=wheel, 2=stick/custom, 3=rumble pad.

I did my first run in the gorgeous Vega team 9, getting whooped by the kamikaze (and aggressively cutting) AI in Q, but holding tight in race session. The track is wide enough and not that difficult and yes the car isn't overpowered but fun to drive nonetheless.
Touching the default setup resulted in worse control for me so back to default there. Looks promising for Friday (my first rF event at RD), so much I couldn't resist signing up for the Caterhams.

There is a little test server up at the moment (for reasons best known to others, it's only allowing me a 15 slot server, but that's enough for now).

My ffb setting are below in case anyone wants them as a starting point...

Code:

FFB Device Type="1" // Type of FFB controller: 0=none 1=wheel, 2=stick/custom, 3=rumble pad.
....
FFB Joy[02] Axis[07] Spring Coefficient Neg="0.00000" // DirectInput Coefficient to use for spring

At the risk of sounding a bit daft, where does that lot live? controller.ini?

And can you make that happen just for the one car or would that be a second install jobby?
