It's not about the number, it's about only C drivers available for signing, plus my B driver dropping to C after only 1 season as well.
I agree.
In my humble opinion the old system was superior and more even.
Lets wait for a few season and see how it develops, but i think it wont work as good.

If a lower tier team ranks up it often has worse drivers than the tier above. We cant buyout other drivers so its difficult to get a good one since good tier teams sign first. Apart from rookies of course.

I don't agree : Talbot had better drivers than OSCA last year however, they haven't made it in Tier 3 due to bad numbers. Maserati haven't made a come back into Tier 1 with a A Class driver because of bad numbers too. While ERA did it with clearly worse drivers. Tobi hasn't had the chance to sign a good driver because there were no one available that's all. Omer and Maserati clearly dominated the beginning of the 1950 season with worse drivers than the other Tier 1 teams etc.. etc..

Setup Number is more efficient than drivers

The other thing I've imagined is that we could trade PP to buy someone else's driver. This way, a lower Tier team could get a significant advantage to beat their opponent in having more PP and the upper Tier teams would sign the driver they'd like to get. Rate it

if it's something that sounds good.

You've got 48h to send me a new number !

Starting to feel like tier 3 teams should have a bigger chance to get points. I'm not even too bad with the number!
If there's a DNF fest and one of the other tier 3 teams scores points, I'll be really pissed off.

I slightly miss the bit of randomness that CGPM had, for example. All in all it feels a tad too predictable.

Cooper scored points as a Tier 3

Before the last race of the season, Maserati will enter Tier 1 while ERA is going back to Tier 2. HW Motors would be downgraded to Tier 3 while Gordini now hold the line to get back into Tier 2. BRM should go to Tier 4 while Connaught will certainly access Tier 3.

You've got 48h to send me a new number for the very last race of the season !
