Assetto Corsa Racing Club event
Sign me up please. Almost 2 months since my last race on RD, but finally Logitech replaced my broken G27 with the G29 wheel and I am back! Haven't had time for practice though, so the candidates for the last positions will have to compete me! :D

After the incident at the very beginning of the second race (not even at the first turn!!!), I retired. Actually I think that I heard sth about restart and I thought that we were going to restart the race. Anyway, First race was fun, actually I had a continuous improvement during the 1st race and expected that the second would be even better.
Thanks for the race Tobias! The combo was great!

Thanks @Tobias Röhner good car & track choice and the two race system works really well!

Hopefully I can make more events, was really fun tonight although not for @Si sorry to hear about your issues hopefully we can have a cleaner race next time, remember it's not all done on the first corner!

Thanks to the back markers for making it easy to pass and safe too!

Great event all!

I think that I was the key player for the collision of the second race. I was sliding, hit another car and spin after that. Sorry for that maneuver.
Anyway this two race system was good idea. Hope that we see a lot of races with Escort. This is so fun car to drive because lot of oversteering :)
Here is second race in my point of view.

It has been a while since I have raced here at RD (back to the good old Race07 days ) so I didn't think I would be very competitive with this car as it's quite the handful to drive.

The opposite turned out to be true. Started as 4th in the first race and after a good start climbed up to third. Had a nice and fair battle with Tobias for second later. Couldn't catch up with John as his pace was simply too fast for me so I had to bring it home for second place. Last couple of laps we're quite sweaty as Tobias came closer and closer but I managed to keep the gap big enough to hold second place till the finish.

Second race started from 2nd place and after another good start I shortly challenged John for 1st after he took off into the distance as his pace once more was too much for me to handle.:( his was more of a loner race as a simply had to keep the car on the track to hold 2nd. Although with a couple mistakes (damn this cars' tricky to get the power down properly) crossed the checkered flag for 2nd quite easily.:)

Thanks for hosting and I'll be competing some more in the various clubs here in 2016!

Side by side for a whole lap!
