AC Ford Escort RS 1600 @ Mugello - Wed 16 Dec 2020

Assetto Corsa Racing Club event
I just tried comparing mallory and brands/indy. Have to say indy is better in VR.

I tried looking for Oulton, but I could not find the track on RD, same goes for knockhill... Did find cadwell park, so going to try that one later

Brands hatch Indy, transit , that would make sure everyone is in the race. :roflmao:
Close, very close Ernie - it should be as busy cosy, and we might need to alter the rule on use of grass/wheels out :whistling::p

I like the idea of vans at Brands/Indy or maybe even Oulton/Fosters? Both are nice a flowing to get a bit of speed up, but still pretty short. We done any races at Oulton recently?

EDIT or even my local track - Mallory
Funnily enough Scott... I've had the Oulton Park mod for a while, tested it again today for the Tranny, and the bumps are still ridiculous (despite what the modder said! (tho I'm grateful oc)). Trumpet blowing time, I held the lap record (pre chicanes) for the incredibly obscure class of 'under 1000cc Rally Car' class, I think there was 8 in class:laugh:.

But anyway, no:p :roflmao:

Edit: re your last post, the mod's here: https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/oulton-park-1970-1-0.26151/

if silly is want you want:
Just laughed my ass of with this, got to be done!;)

Maybe John is thinking in terms of what can fit inside the transit van... a 125cc gokart, or something bigger... ;)
:p:whistling:
Before I slide down the curtains of life, I need just one more blast on a (proper)125:inlove: ...or did you mean 'the car that we don't say it's name' Patrick?:p;)

How about no blue flags too.
That should liven things up.

But no opening the rear doors and throwing things at the pursuing vans.

We have to have limits.:O_o:
I like the 'no blue flags' idea Ernie! And, as long as it's well intentioned, we should allow banter during this race... school's out after all!:ninja:

Must dash, got an event in Germany to put up:whistling:

Event now up for next week chaps, I did change the track at the last minute!... Original was Hockenheim DTM, but with more than 8 cars vans was too much, really!

The shorter Lausitzring DTM provides multiple lines 'n braking areas, so, hopefully plenty of (friendly!) action:)

Thanks all for another fantastic evening of racing. I felt more comfortable tonight and really tried to focus on not making mistakes as I knew it'd be an eventful few races in such a twitchy car.

Apologies to @thom462 for a bit of a punt on the penultimate corner in the first race.

Great to be mixing it with a few others tonight too. @GeekyDeaks, @SOLO59, @hape and others. Thanks all!

No problem @doof205. Anyway I was was far too slow in this car. Had not much practice, no setup and no idea how to do a 2.13 with this car, not the kind of car I can compete with the front runners......Hope for better pace again in the GT cars next time. cu
