Assetto Corsa Racing Club event
i don´t know if this is usual, but...

quite nice race yesterday. i made two mistakes that made me lose some positions, but... anyway, quit fun. I love classic cars, may be too much. I´m a little bit lost with the setups, but i can drive with consistency. the problema is that I´m new with all this new sims and I have to get used.

I do not think there is too much to be gained with a setup in this car, when a setup creates a different
response you just seem to drive around it. Changing the setup again creates the same response
of driving around it and so it goes on and on.

I hope this makes sense.:):)

hum, I´m not sure. may be with this car the changes in the setup have to be bigger to feel something, but they can help. for example, is not the same to drive with a 25% or 40% of power on the diferential. wath I see this days is with 25% of power, you lose a lot of par through the inner whell wich start to spin too fast. and, in consecuence, speed through the corner.

I´m agree with you when you said that a setup change creates a different response, but this change can help you and your drivestyle to be faster. always when I change the setup, I give myself time to get used to. i change a little bit how I turn, accelerate and ...

my big problema is that I come from grand Prix legends, where the setup changes can be feel, but not in the way of assetto, automobilista,.. in gpl you can do quite well, without touching tyre presure a lot, and in assetto when you change they, all the car handling changes.

I hope you can understand all.;)

The diff is a good example, running it at 40%, with the advantage that it can pick up more acceleration, but then I have to deal with more over steer
which reduces the advantage, so I end up trying to control the over steer in an attempt to take advantage of the extra drive.
"I run it at 25% without any real loss in average lap times."
So in the end I put it at 40% and use over steer and drive to try and balance the car, eventually running out of skill a loosing all that I have gained.:)
