Also as we are racing after the F1 race, if there race is Wet we could run our race wet.

Ooo, F1 support races, sounds interesting.

I'll have to reinstall rFactor so. I think the ideas posted so far are spot on. I think PE is cool, realistic. I don't mind being in a crap car, for example . An interesting thing to do would be to have each car being put into the real life qualifying space. I.e. Someone chooses a McLaren, only to find that Hamilton screwed up in Qualy. Fun, eh?

If we had to run races in wet, how can we do this for rFactor?

would prefer a mod that quiet driveable that would make for some good close racing ....... i really been enjoying the past few dayz where the races have been quiet close ....very exiting .

Ben and myself did some testing on various version of tracks. Also we have to keep in mind we don't break SimBin licenses.

We were thinking about it, but for someone only picking up 1 or 2 races it will be a huge download.
For now we think posting single tracks at a time.

Raceformat will be similar of last year, 30 laps race with mandatory pitstop for both fuel and tires.
I think 40mins practice and 15 mins qual. Standing start with mandatory use of launch control.

Also, I thought the races went the full distance...

I'd be interested but don't know what mod don't have rF yet and wouldn't be able to join till 3rd round (Birthday list includes rF ) as long as the time doesn't clash with the actual race.

MMG 2007 PE. I find variety in the cars can lead for some interesting races, especially if we have to change car each round.

I Say MMG pe But pick the drivers for each team out of a hat or random.org:handshake: seems fairest way to me!

It will then indeed be the MMG 2007 PE. It drives ok for most.
About race distance; only the last round we drove in 2008 was full distance
Rest was 30 laps or close to it.
