F1 standings if cheats were actually punished.

You saw Baumgartner? He jumped to the world down.
Red Bull didnt made profit with his jump. But you saw the brand all the time.
So they are making money with advertising.

I don't think they are ruining F1
They have the Knowledge to gain Speed and they have the Money to Spend for their Needs.

But won't we end up with a Ferrari 00-04 situation? I think F1 lost more fans during that time than at any point in my life time. I did not watch one race between 01-05 because of those better tyres Ferrari had. It made the whole thing pointless.

Red Bull's budget is having the same effect, it's just getting pointless racing for any other team, they can't keep up with £225m, they just can't.

I would feel better about the situation if it was Ferrari, or Mercedes or even Caterham spending that sort of money, and we can see some of that technology on the road, but Red Bull spend all this money and give nothing to the sport, nothing to the industry, they just want to sell VERY unhealthy energy drinks.

McLaren are trying to bring younger fans to the sport with a cartoon. Red Bull are trying to kill them with their cans of pure sugar and caffeine.

I just have a question.
Chris Hempsall you say that moveable wins are not allowed but I was wondering if you could quite the rules and the paragraphs that state that the current movement and construction of the nose and movement of the wing is not allowed.

I honestly do not know the FIA rules for F1 from page 1 to the final page so it would be great to know what the rules say about moving front wings and noses and also understand your strong opinions about RBR cheating.

Cheers,
Georgios.

The rules about moveable aerodynamic parts is written very clearly. I posted the rule a few posts up^^

What I'm thinking is, could they argue that the wings moving are a consequence of the nose. But is the nose an aerodynamic part? That's where it get's grey, and into Newey territory :)

By your logic Chris, it means Hamilton deserved 0 points in 2007 because Mclaren were disqualified from constructors championship and had all their points removed.

In your post, it shows Vettel/Webber having points took away when Red Bull have "cheated" so that is why Hamilton deserved 0 points in 2007 with the same logic, even though he did nothing wrong.

I agree. He did nothing wrong, but were the idea's on his car stolen? Possibly (probably not)

In which case, I would completely apply my logic to Hamilton, he should also have been stripped of his points. See, I'm not that biased

The Fall of Red bull i don't think it will be that easy
some will say Newey was the factor but they are working as a Team. Until They have Huge Money reserves and Knowledge base i don't think they will fall with or with out newey.

"the nose tips are designed “always a little softer” in order to comply with the FIA’s crash tests, and that Vettel’s could have appeared even weaker during his first pitstop in Abu Dhabi due to the damage it had sustained."

I don't think there will be a ''Fall of Red Bull''

Newey is the best, I don't think there's doubt about that. Even when not exploring grey areas in the regulations, Newey can build Red Bull a great car.

Also, another reason I don't think there will be a fall of Red Bull, is that Red Bull will leave the sport as soon as the advertising isn't doing it's job anymore. They won't gradually fall away, or stop winning, they'll just leave as soon as the marketing tool has finished it's job.

But so do others and sooner or later they will catch up with Newey. Also, when Ferrari dominated too much, the FIA bitchslapped them with new rules, that pushed them down the grid. The same thing might happen to Red Bull - maybe one day the rules will be clear enough to make even Newey and the Bulls behave.
There's also the possibility of Renault not being able to design a good enough V6 engine and giving the other... 5 ( :O_o: ) teams a clear advantage.
No, wait, Toro Rosso use a Ferrari engine as well, so it's 6 teams.
