Massa has always been a likeable fellow on and off track. But in F1 you cannot afford to be too nice. Not enough aggression and this year I personally think he just chugged along just enough to justify his wages. However, behind the scenes he did a great job helping young Stroll with his racecraft and dealing with all the crap F1 drivers have to deal with. (I have a friend at Williams who told me this). He will be remembered, though not as a 'great'.
I love Felipe, but it is a shame that since his accident he has always been off the pace a tad; I think this year showed that he is starting to wane, it is a good time to call it a day.
He had a decent year to end it all, farewell Felipe.
